Renovated rooms are spacious and comfortable. Hotel is under construction and the gym/restaurant are closed currently.
Staff is nice, and the facility is clean. However the walls are very thin, and you can hear quiet conversations, TV, and when your neighbors use the bathroom. Wouldn't be so bad if the rooms had thermostats with constant fan as an option but they do not.

We hosted an event in the area and reserved a block of rooms in May 24 for the February 25 event. Our guests booked 20 rooms. We knew in May there was construction but erroneously presumed it would be finished or further along 9 months later. Lobby was a mess. Restaurant, bar, fitness center and pool were not open and what was most disappointing was that we learned 2 days before our event that the glam room we had reserved did not exist! The only reason we found out was because we visited the hotel to deliver welcome bags for our guests. Rooms had been updated but were disappointing. Was awakened several times in the night to the sound of toilets flushing in other rooms. Room provisions were minimal. One wash cloth, no tissues and only one coffee for a double queen room. Working with the staff was difficult. Had to make numerous calls and send numerous emails to the sales manager to confirm room totals. Additionally, when investigating breakfast options with the sales manager he never bothered to tell me it was complimentary. I had to call the hotel to learn that after reviewing the menus he sent that would have cost us more than $2K in total for our guests! But of course since he never followed up with me I had to explore other options and the free breakfast was then discovered. While the hotel did arrange for an extra suite in lieu of the glam room, had we not stopped in we would not have known of the issue until the day of our arrival. Really poor customer service, especially since our guests brought in so much revenue for the hotel. I have been a Bonvoy member for many years and this is the first time I would NOT recommend a Marriott facility. Meanwhile across town at the Sonesta, where we also had a block of rooms, the staff had excellent communication, went over and above to accommodate us by adding a shuttle for our guests and provided great service to our guests. Get it together Marriott!!

Friendly front desk staff, check-in was quick and simple. The room was available early, so I checked in around 11:30am, which was nice as it was cold outside and needed to warm up before I left again.

The room I got was renovated. No more carpet, it's now hard wood floor! The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The only complain was the water pressure in the shower and no microwave in the room.

The restaurant was decent, had their breakfast buffet... the menu was simple, yet it hit the spot, my favorite was the bacon 🙂

Definitely would stay here again if back in the area.

I stayed here for one night while on a business trip. My ambassador status was recognized at checkin and the staff was very welcoming and accommodating with an early check in. ||At first I thought the hotel was old and dated but was very surprised to see how new and well appointed with amenities the room was. ||The room was clean and furnished with all the convenient amenities including bedside usb chargers. ||Complimentary coffee was available in the lobby before breakfast was open. ||Breakfast consisted of a Buffett with plenty of options. ||Overall, was impressed with the property and its close proximity to nearby amenities and will return again!

Worked with this location for my wedding block. I was hesitant after reading reviews but our venue recommended them and said they promised new reliable shuttle service. They ended up doing a good job with everything. There were bumps in the road because they switched over business managers and didn’t notify couples with blocks, so I didn’t have a contact or any responses for a while when I sent emails to the old one. Finally a new manager responded. I asked to confirm everything in my signed contract from the old manager with the new manager, but said he had to look at it. I was concerned because a signed contract is a signed contract, but he eventually said all would be honored. Leading up to the day, I was in touch with Lucio and Tim and they were helpful. Lucio personally called me a few times after I had some concerns with logistics and he was great. Day of, they handed out our welcome bags we made to (most) of our guests, we had at least 15 left over when we only made 4 extra. They had 3 weddings that weekend on the same day and the shuttles went very smoothly. Most, but not all my guests, had updated renovated rooms. They are in the middle of a major renovation project and the updated rooms look great. The get ready room was very old for the morning of our wedding, but it worked for the hours we had it. Overall, good experience and all that was in my contract was honored. The location is great, there are a lot of options for things to do in the surrounding area.

Marriott Northwest is doing a great job on its remodeling. New carpets in the hallways and the rooms have had a nice fresh modern makeover. Conveniently located off the highway and close to restaurants and shopping. This is a good location to stop and rest before heading into downtown Chicago.

Don’t bother using this hotel for a wedding block, it’s not worth the stress before the big day. The only way I was able to make contact to place a block was to attend a wedding convention hosted by my venue. All previous emails and phone calls were ignored. After getting a block set-up I found that they did not keep track of guests that booked through the link. I had to send them a list of guest last names to cross check whether they booked, even though through communication with my guests, I knew they did. I ended up wasting time managing them and had to book my own shuttle.

Positive: The hotel was decorated very nicely. Negative: Charged a separate $25 fee that was not stated in the in the description.i had to pay for wifi..I was upgraded (sarcasm) to a single queen instead of a double queen i paid for originally room had no carpet, only tile. I didn't feel like a platinum member
