No housekeeping. Gotta call for clean towels. Meanwhile dirty towels must remain in the room for some reason? Trash is not picked up.
Staff is really nice but had to give this place a 1 star bc there is no housekeeping.

No dressers. Terrible WiFi. No sink space. No closets. Place is really dirty. Trash in elevators. You have to pay for parking in this absolute run down hotel.

Came here to visit UOfA family weekend. Prices were insanely high especially for this level Of service. This should not be associated w Marriott.

So disappointing.

We won’t be staying again.

Five stars for the hotel itself, minus one for the unexpected nightly drag race soundtrack.

The room was immaculate, the bed was a cloud, and the breakfast food options could feed a small army. But let's just say, the "Fast and Furious" franchise has nothing on the real-life action happening right outside my window.

If you're a fan of impromptu car shows and the sweet symphony of revving engines, this is your paradise. If not, maybe pack some earplugs. Either way, the hotel itself is top-notch.

Diego checked us in tonight. I have stayed a here several times and he is the most helpful and sweet front desk person I have had. He went above and beyond for us. He explained the rewards program very well. I wish we could have him every time we are here!

The hotel is in a good location - within walking distance of a decent amount of fast food. The rooms are pretty standard and clean. Nothing fancy but no complaints. I stay here almost every time I come into town.

This is a 3.5-4 star 3 star hotel.
It's not fancy. But it's not a 5 star hotel, it's a 3 star hotel. And 3 star hotel is basically what you get.

Pros:
- it's clean
- the bed is comfy
- the staff were nice
- the snack shop & bar have a decent selection
- shower is large with good water pressure and temperature
- the room is big with a good view
- Good full body mirror in the bathroom
- has a mini fridge

Cons:
- my bed sheets didn't fit. I even left a note for house keeping to replace the sheet because it kept popping off. And either they ignored it or all the sheets just don't fit the king beds.
- the pillows aren't great. Pretty flat
- towels are stained
- no shelf or space for toiletries in the shower
- no microwave. Which is weird when there's a fridge.
- there's no drawers or dresser
- 1 small space to hang clothes that's in the bathroom that doesn't have a vent, so it gets moist
- location is ok. But it's just not a walkable city. Thankfully, Uber is cheap and the bus is free

Overall, I would stay here again, but not for the price. I wasn't disappointed but also wasn't enthusiastic.

Aloft Tucson University provided a great view of the Tucson Mountains. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were table games in the lounge area for family or friends to hang out. Also, there was a bar which was surprisingly busy despite a weekday. Overall, great experience. Oh... and the breakfast was delicious! I recieved a military voucher and got a fresh homemade breakfast sandwich which I very much enjoyed.

this is another one of the hotels I stay at quite frequently for work. I was originally staying at the Marriott on Arizona University campus, but I found this one is a little bit of a better value. Parking is only $10 a night. You do not have to valet. Another great perk is that there are dining options within walking distance. My only complaint is that I wish they would spend money and get the Smart TVs instead of cable.

Going to share the more objective pros and cons before getting into details of my specific stay.

Pros:
Super convenient if you're visiting someone at the UofA.
The rooms were decent, and the curtins did a great job of actually blocking light.

Cons:
The pillows were kind of bad. Lumpy and not great to use (although I found the bed itself to be fine)
The intersection is loud with traffic, so if you're on a lower floor prepare to hear it all.
You will have to pay for parking.

My Stay:
I booked my reservation for a Friday check in, Sunday check out, somewhere in the middle of that it was moved to a Thursday, Saturday stay. On me for not looking closer at the email confirmation, but I did think I needed to.

I arrived on friday and was told that since I hadn't called to change my reservation the only thing that could be done was to reinstate the Thursday-Saturday, then create a second reservation to cover Saturday to Sunday. I ended up paying for a night I didn't stay, and never planned to stay.
(Seriously, why would I call on Thursday when I never planned on staying that night?)

I was even told when I was checking out that their system had been "having some issues" and was offered a complimentary snack for the road as compensation.

Housekeeping didn't check the fridge when cleaning after the last guests, so there was leftover takeout still in it when I checked in. Sushi, to be exact. And at one point one of the elevators broke down.

Most of it was nothing on it's own that would be more than a slight annoyance, but the reservation screwup really tainted much of the stay. The unexpected leftovers didn't help any.

I'm honestly not inclined to stay there again. Two different desk people basically blowing of a reservation mixup like that doesn't give me confidence that other potential issues would be handled any better. It's a shame since it was so convenient for visiting with my daughter that weekend.

Positive: Staff was friendly upon checkin. Negative: The hotel did not meet expectations. It is quite old and rooms need to be renovated. There is something strange about the ceilings. The rooms are very dark, headboards had lots of scratches and marks that had been colored in with marker.
