Most the drivers were great, but WARNING they may drop you off at places the trolly won't pick you up from.
We got dropped off at the portrait gallery but never got picked up and had to take an UBER. Stopping at 4pm does not allow enough time to get off at each stop in one day.
I highly recommend doing the tour of Arlington Cemetery

Did the night tour and had a great experience! The driver was informative, helpful and friendly, and the views were spectacular. We were given allocated times which we could go off the bus and explore the area if we wished, but we were given lots of time, so it didn’t feel too rushed. The tour explored places such as Arlington cemetery and the Lincoln memorial, and watching the sunset from the bus was so beautiful. I definitely recommend going on this tour!

We took a day tour and a night tour.

Night tour with the driver called Hollywood was amazing, amazing, amazing! He was fun, super super knowledgeable, loves what he does and then just the whole night vibe made it an awesome experience!

I’d recommend the tour before you plan your other activities because we learned a ton that would have changed some of what did and would have done.

Batman was full of interesting tips and took time to greet everyone. This tour has just enough time at stops and for beautiful evening photos. Easy to get on at the Hyatt Regency!

We booked the city tour today. What use finds great is that the ticket can be valid for up to several days. The information was very well prepared and the 1.5h was around very quickly. Even if we didn't get off because we wanted to have an overview first, the stops are very well chosen. What else I would have liked to have driven closer to the White House

This was an amazing way to spend our first full day in D.C. The convenience of the hop-on, hoo-off is exactly as advertised. We would time our visits to certain memorials to get a quick ride and they always ran on time. Also, great views from the top deck…and natural air conditioning! All 3 photos I posted were taken from the top deck of the bus.

If you have never been to DC or other major city with lots of landmarks, Dublin, London, etc..., the first thing you should do is get on a hop on hop off tour. I lived in Dublin for four years, did the tour bus 5 times throughout my stay when family came to visit. You'll learn more in the first day you're there than 90% of the locals. We did the DC loop 2 times in the day and once at night. Each driver was informative, but Just Joe really was great.

This is an easy way to get around and see all the places in DC. All the drivers (but1) were super friendly and informative. They navigate traffic pretty well.
