Thank you to Alluring Africa for planning a marvelous birthday safari for me! From start to finish, everything was taken care of, and I didn’t have to worry about anything either before or during my time abroad. I would especially like to thank Cheryl Gould for her professionalism, honest feedback, attention to detail and enthusiasm. She made sure that I was aware of all my resources while on safari, provided me with actionable and relevant information for my trip and even helped arrange for a surprise at the safari lodge on my birthday.

I would absolutely recommend Alluring Africa and Cheryl if you are planning on going on safari anywhere in Africa. My impression is that it requires a lot of knowledge and coordination to plan a safari, and they provided just that. They worked with my budget, matched me with a location and lodges that fit my requirements and what I wanted to see/experience and communicated frequently with me to ensure a seamless and smooth trip. We worked with Coral Cameron to plan a 2 week trip to South Africa to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We had high hopes, but it turned our to be the trip of a lifetime that we still talk about daily.

Coral listened carefully to our wishes and tailored the trip to fit exactly what we wanted. We flew from the Eastern US to Johannesburg for a night, then spent 4 nights at &Beyond Phinda Private Game Reserve. Our time there was simply unforgettable. The resort has such a close family feel to it without being too much. Our guide (Matt) and tracker (Joel) were phenomenal and really knew how to find and identify everything we wanted to see. Our room at Phinda was so luxe and comfortable, and we were sad to leave.

Fortunately, our next stop at Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge was equally impressive. The contrast in terrain and ecosystems compared with Phinda meant that we got to see some different animals, and I can certainly see why Coral planned these 2 contrasting sites for us. Our guide, Jamiel, and tracker, Louis, were just as personable and knowledgeable as the team at Phinda, and our suite was exceptionally nice.

We rounded out the trip with 3 nights in Capetown. It was our first time there and we fell in love with the vibrant city. We truly hope to return to South Africa before long, though we're also eyeing another African destination for our next milestone anniversary.

I can't say enough good things about Alluring Africa, and we will most definitely book with them again for our next adventure.

My husband and I had the most perfect and unforgettable honeymoon planned by Alluring Africa! They came highly recommended by friends and did not disappoint! We wanted a mix of city, safari, and beach experiences for our South African honeymoon. Every location and accomodation they suggested was perfect. I can’t begin to thank Liz for ALL the amazing planning while having to deal with COVID postponements! She directed me and planned the most amazing trip of my lifetime that I will never forget, EVERYTHING I ever wanted to do and see my first trip to Africa she accomplished with each camp. I visited Eagle Island, Savute Elephant Camp, Little Sabi Sands Bush Camp and then uganda for gorillas! I went on this trip solo and I never felt more safe! Liz really ensured that with connecting me to some pretty amazing people in Africa. From plane hopping, Sundowner Drives with G&T’s, stargazing galore!, The community visit and meeting new lifelong friends there will be miles of smiles for life! Everything from the amazing presentation and quality of food, stunning accommodations and especially the impeccable service and the exceptional staff members at each Belmond group camp were truly REMARKABLE and they will leave a place in my heart forever! thank you so much LIZ and alluring Africa for making my dreams come true and I’m sure I’ll be planning my next trip soon !!!

The service from Alluring Africa was amazing. It all started with Debbie who took the time to understand our interests and put together an amazing itinerary which included 2 different safari camps in Kenya, a stop in Giza to see the Pyramids and Sphinx, and then a cruise down the River Nile to numerous tombs and other landmarks. From the outset we were met by their partners on the ground and handed off from one to the other without ever so much as a question as to whom to connect with or where to go to find our next liaison. We cannot imagine trying to have accomplished a trip like this on our own.

The safari camps in Kenya were top-shelf with beautiful tents right in the wilderness, caring and lovely staff, and the best food one could imagine. Our guides were spectacular and we saw more wildlife than anyone could expect. Our guide in Egypt was terrific and was able to give us a history lesson in Egyptology we won't ever forget. The river cruise was so classy with food that rivaled only the camps we had been in Kenya. The tombs were beautiful.

This was truly THE trip of a lifetime. We are so glad to have found Alluring Africa, and, of course, Africa so alluring! 🐾
