I called this place yesterday, 6/20/23, about renewing my medicaid. Which I have not ever had to do. I can't afford to lose it. Well when I spoke with a worker here over the phone, she wanted to argue the fact that I haven't ever had to renew. When I said 'I can't afford to lose my insurance. I lose my medicaid, I can't go to the doctors. If I can't go to the doctors for my health issues, I'm gonna be dead' She replied: Okay, Good!. When I said to my friend sitting beside me: DHS in Laurel said its okay if I die. She suddenly transferred me to someone else. Now the 2nd woman, she was rude. I'm panicking about not having coverage. I go through the same disagreement with this woman. With an attitude, she then looked in my file. And there in my file showed I was right. No letter for renewal was sent to me. I was told it has to be completed by June 30th. She would mail me one. I said I need it by Monday the 26th or it's not going to get done. She said she was working from home and would mail it out the next day. Then hung up. This place is a complete nightmare. I unfortunately have to use this service center because I live in Delmar.
I don't appreciate being told it's okay if I die. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Went to the state center for the COVID test... Employees were thorough and professional. In and
out in 20 to 30 mins.
