On a recent road trip I made a few reservations on the same day. I forgot I had reserved a king suite with eating area in Dover. We walked in and I was happily surprised to see the size of the room as well as the separate sleeping area.

The room was clean, modern in it's decor, but it did lack some extra lighting. The bedroom only had one light near one side of the bed. No nightlight in the bathroom, and the sitting area lacked a bit of lighting too. The couch was not all that comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows, not my preference.

The bathroom was clean but the wallpaper needed to be removed, replaced. A lot of the pattern is gone. The shower had a rain head and I hoped for a decent amount of water pressure, but it was not to be. I like to see shiny faucets in a hotel room. I think it shows a little more attention to detail and cleanliness. The shower controls had water spotting on them, as did the shower doors.

Breakfast choices were fine, all staff friendly.

We would stay here again.

-Front desk attendants Grant, Allison, Jared & Vincent were stellar in performance. They were bright, inviting & never failed to greet us by name! Day or night, they were there with a smile ready to serve us as guests.
-Housekeeping staff kept our room very nice without ever interrupting our privacy. The most helpful was Judith, Sandra, Ronette, Christina & Nancy. They were amazing with making sure our room was clean and always stocked with essentials.
-Mr. Charles was so kind & swift in handling maintenance issues. He never failed to greet with a smile!
-Nancy, Marie & Steven did a beautiful job providing an enjoyable breakfast everyday, maintaining a variety in food choice. Meal area was always clean & fully stocked.

Wonderful staff, they were friendly and knowledgeable. The room was extremely clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was also clean. The amenities were just right for the short stay. The breakfast bar was more than enough for the first meal of the day.

I would definitely stay at this location again.

BTW…..I cannot say enough about how friendly and accommodating the staff was.

We stayed there during the summer and had a wonderful experience. The whole team was very kind and courteous. Excellent customer service! Our room was spacious and very clean. The entire staff was very welcoming. The manager Julie and her team were so friendly and made us feel at home. Whenever needed something, they were super quick to help. If we are ever in town again, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you for everything Julie and team!

The breakfast during the weekday was amazing and the woman who works the kitchen deserves a raise. Our housekeeper was very nice and helpful. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

Pet owners be mindful that the pet fee is per dog, so take that into consideration if you are traveling with two dogs. We were surprised at the overall total for the pet fees.

We stay here 3 or 4 times a year as a family trip and its been great every visit. The staff is so professional and caring about our needs. They definitely wants to make sure that your stay is everything you want and need..

Good stay for the location. I had to bring my dog and the hotel was very welcoming for pets. The breakfast in the morning was of good quality. I try to eat healthy and was happy they had egg white omelets.

We have stayed at HIE sites for years, and been very happy. However, this was the first HIE location that said it was "pet-friendly". I then learned that there were no rooms that are kept pet-free. We were assured that the leaning ensured that we would smell no dog from someone else's previous visit. That did not prove to be the case. My wife and I both could smell the scent of dogs having been in the room.

I would like to ask what IHG's policy is regarding dogs in your locations. Thank you for listening.
