My family of five, two adults and three kids ages 9, 7, and 7, truly enjoyed our ranch visit! Janice was a wonderful host coupling fun llama experiences with lots of stories, education, and conversation. We loved feeding and petting the llamas and the great surprises like meeting their tortoise Mr Turtle and handing some animal and Native American artifacts. My girls can’t wait to go on their first llama hike!

My family had an opportunity to visit the llama ranch earlier this month. It was so educational and fun to interact with these interesting, sweet animals. Chris was extremely knowledgeable and patient as we asked questions and learned about the llamas and their life on the ranch. We will definitely make time for a llama hike in the spring.

Our family (kiddos ages 9 and 14) thoroughly enjoyed our time with Janice and her llamas! Our lakeside hike was gorgeous and our picnic was delicious. The llamas were delightful!! Janice was eager to share information about her llamas and more than patient with my many questions regarding their personalities, care and gear! She engaged our kids effortlessly! It couldn't have been a better experience and I cannot wait to return - next time for a full day hike. What a wonderful, unique, genuine experience!!

Five extended family members went on a hike with Janice and the llamas. Each of the 5 of us were matched perfectly with the right llama for each of us. How fun it was to hike and lead the llamas down the path and around the lake area. We stopped halfway to enjoy a picnic snack that the llamas had packed for us. The snack pack from the Wild Iris Coffeehouse was superb and so unexpected. Janice even made some hot chocolate that we all sipped while overlooking the lake.

The llamas were so interesting and we learned so much about them from Janice. She is a consummate professional and you can tell she has a very unique passion for her animals. She assisted us with picture taking and we got some very fun shots with each of us and our llamas. It was a gorgeous day to take the hike and I would highly recommend this to all. We had a marvelous time! Thanks Janice - you were awesome.

What a great time I had with Janice and her llamas on the 4 hour hike. Her llamas are sweet and gentle. It was so much fun climbing the rocks with them. Janice brought a delicious picnic along which we ate by the lake. She is a super person and it was such a terrific experience. Other hikers we passed would take photos of us and were amazed at what we were doing. So much fun!!!!!
