This was such a wonderful experience. We basically got a private tour as it was just me and my boyfriend and our guide. It was relaxing and so fun, we got to learn about some history as well as wildlife and even plant life. The knowledge our guide had was amazing and the tour was the perfect length, he was also our photographer for it and got some really great candids. The added bonus was the music we got to enjoy, and the free fish spa along the trail. 20/10 birthday experience would do it again gladly!

I was so happy I finally checked this off my bucket list, I’ve put it off three years and WOW!
I’m returning next week, for more fun! Our guide Blaine gave us a great education on the native wildlife, plants and history of the area, in addition to being a great guy with a super fun, professional character! What an awesome adventure we had on the Verde River with our guide Dave!! Upon entering the river, he gave us a brief synopsis of what to expect along the tour- which definitely reassured us because we really didn't know what to expect! He gave us insight into the history of the canyon above us and talked about the water ways of the river. As we approached the rapids, Dave schooled us on how to navigate the rocks and to PADDLE PADDLE PADDLE!!!
It was an incredible experience that I got to share with my daughter and her roommate. We made new friends with our fellow kayakers ? and kayaked by an animal sanctuary. ? Kudos to Craig and Brandy Walker for running one heck of an adventure service. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND KAYAKING WITH OAC!!!! We made memories to last a lifetime. ?

We had an amazing day with the Outdoor Adventure Center team! The kayaking on the Verde River was fantastic, with breathtaking views. The highlight of the trip was our incredible guides, Ken and Walt. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everyone had a great time. Their expertise and enthusiasm made the adventure unforgettable. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors and create wonderful memories.

I have used OAC three times now- twice with my kiddo, and they’re all such amazing people! Everyone takes time with you, and I always feel safe and happy on the river. Kudos to Dave and Blaine this trip- fantastic river guides with superb camera skills and tons of knowledge. I can’t wait to go again!

We had an amazing time! We highly recommend this kayak trip on the Verde with Outdoor Adventure Centers. The day starts with a friendly greeting, a short van ride to where the kayaking starts with a great safety talk and explanation of how to maneuver the kayaks in all situations. The guides were a lot of fun and continually directed us how to maneuver through the rapids. This adventure is perfect for any age. A must do when in Cottonwood!

Kayaking Adventure with Family
We recently had an amazing kayaking experience with my husband and our 7-year-old son. The whole activity was exceptionally well-organized, from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring we were all comfortable and safe.
The scenery was breathtaking, and the guides shared interesting insights about the local wildlife and ecosystem. Our son had a blast and felt like a true adventurer! The equipment was top-notch and well-maintained, which added to our confidence and enjoyment.
We highly recommend this kayaking tour for families looking for a fun and memorable outdoor activity. We'll definitely be back for another adventure!

The trip was so much fun!! The river moves pretty quick so you really don’t have to paddle too much. It was the highlight of our vacation and we did a lot of other tours.
