Loved the accommodations here. Very modern and chic decor and furniture with details clearly thought out. Comfortable in the rooms and lobby. Good location close to Yale and cafes/restaurants. Hope I don't have to return to New Haven, but if I did, I would love to stay here again.

Exceptional hotel!
All the staff are complete pros - friendly, helpful, gracious - from valet, to front desk check-in, to all staff during stay, to departure.
Alec and Emma at front desk were amazing!
Perfect rooms - spacious, great furnishings, clean, great heating, terrific shower, comfortable bed.
Hotel is in great location - easy walk to Yale and all dining and coffee options.

Good driving location. Room clean and spacious. Only one sink. Toilet too low for even slightly disability. No coffee maker in room. No breakfast possible in the hotel despite a restaurant on site (open in the evening). Television stopped working 7 times, requiring reboots. Hotel requires $300 “we don’t trust you” deposit on arrival in case of breakage or damage. ||Nice staff a good valet help.

So many good aspects of this hotel: Location is great for walking to Yale and shopping/dining. Lobby design is lovely. Room was large, clean and well laid out. Staff friendly and helpful. The Rooftop bar/restaurant was excellent. Does not have corporate hotel feel- boutique vibe. We will be back again I am sure.

Quiet, comfortable, and amenity-filled hotel. Great restaurant, fantastic location and extremely comfortable bed. Our room was clean and quiet, fantastic linens and great pillows. The Blake is right around the corner from restaurants and bars - tremendous location. The staff is friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome from the first moment to the last.

Very stylish, very clean, very welcoming. Elegant design and huge rooms, which are elegantly and modern funished. I liked the vibe a lot. Friendly and efficient service - at valet, reception, bar and restaurant, which - btw - has delicious food (Italien style with creative twists; let me praise first and foremost the lemon sorbet!). The Blake Hotel in New Haven is right next to Yale university and an excellent choice for an overnight stay in the charming town of New Haven. If I were to criticise anything at all, I'd complain about the fact that the windows can't be opened, and about the lack of a coffee maker (or at least 2-3 servings of Nescafé) in the otherwise well stocked kitchen in the rooms. The only option to get coffee in the morning is downstairs at the courtesy coffee bar in the lobby. The hotel does not offer breakfast, either. However, there were a Starbucks and several independent coffee shops nearby.

We stayed at the Blake while looking at places to move to in New Haven. They had the best rooms/bars/ restaurant you could ask for in a hotel. I'm shocked it's not rated 5 stars!.. Not to mention this hotel smells like Heaven on earth. And special shout out to David, who bartends up and downstairs, he always remembers my Partner and I, knows what drink we like, is full of fun and positivity and remembers our last conversations. He goes above and beyond!! We will always be returning clients!!
