I would like to formally express my dissatisfaction with an experience I had at your restaurant this afternoon. I visited for lunch with my autistic son, my friend, her autistic son, and a 6-month-old baby. While our server was respectful and kind, and our food was satisfactory, an incident occurred that left us feeling quite uncomfortable.

As we were finishing our meals and preparing to request a to-go box, we were abruptly approached by someone I assume was a manager, who immediately said, with a disapproving attitude, "Can I help you guys with something? Clearly the shade is going to be broken?" My son, who is autistic, was standing in the booth with the shade gently over him because it helps him feel safe and provides the space he needs for his sensory processing. He was not hurting or breaking the shade in any way.

I understand if there was a concern about the shade, but the manner in which it was addressed was rude and unacceptable. The individual did not introduce themselves or provide any consideration for why my child was behaving in that manner. I attempted to correct my son by putting the shade up, but realized he would likely break it in his attempts to comfort himself if I continued to fight him over it. The table beside us as we were leaving, even complimented the children on how well behaved they were and that we handled the situation very well and that they understood us.

This restaurant is deemed to be family-friendly, yet the approach taken was neither family nor kid-friendly. I felt judged as a parent, despite the situation being under control and causing no harm. I expect better from your establishment, and believe that staff, especially managers, should be trained to handle situations professionally and understand the needs of all children, autistic or not.

Consistently good food and friendly service at all locations. I was able to catch happy hour for discount appetizers.

The food that I ordered, was very horrible. I think I ordered The bait seafood something, and it was not good at all. The cocktail drink that I ordered, was nothing but juice. Any chef would know when you grill asparagus you have to cut the bottom wood part off. They sent me the whole thing and I'm thinking that it was cut off and it tastes like wood. So I had to cut my asparagus bottom parts off, you don't serve people that in a restaurant that tells me you have no training!

This is an edit to a previous review for 99 restaurant in Dover NH. The manager of this location, Chuck, asked my friend and I to come back to his restaurant after we let him know we didn’t love our meals. He promised we would not be disappointed and he was right.
We visited on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch. The hostess that greeted and seated was pleasant. The restaurant and bar area were clean. Our server friendly and efficient. She was able to answer any questions we had about the menu. She was attentive and anticipated our needs; making sure our drinks were refilled promptly without having to ask.
We ordered the chicken fajita flatbread to start and it was delicious.
For the main meal I ordered the buffalo Mac and cheese with no blue cheese and extra sauce on the side. The buffalo chicken was juicy, tender and flavorful. The Mac and cheese was extra creamy and cheesy. The portions were generous.
My friend ordered the baked stuffed shrimp. She chose broccoli and mashed potatoes for her two sides. She also enjoyed her meal. Her shrimp was perfectly cooked. The broccoli was fresh and the mashed potatoes were rich and creamy.
Of all the 99 restaurants I have visited in Massachusetts and New Hampshire ( most recently Manchester NH) Dover NH location on hotel drive was the best overall experience.

My wife enjoyed her generous portion of steak tips. She upgraded to asparagus, which was delicious. She also upgraded to a side salad which was big, butt mostly disappointing collection of lettuce, two cucumber , two onion slices, a tomato and croutons.
She also order a mudslide martini, which was delicious, but disappointing small serving.
I had a crispy fish sandwich which was good size. It came with French fries. My French onion soup was excellent, steaming hot, melted cheese, and loaded with onion.
Our waitress was friendly, polite, and fast and attentive.

I thought the place smelled a little musty, but my wife did not notice.

This has nothing to do with the staff or anything with my service when picking up my meal.
It is purely about the food. Pork carnitas Mac and cheese... I ordered it with the sauce on the side which I received so kudos for following requests that's appreciated.

The issue though is when I did that you find out that underneath you honestly just have some microwaved Mac and cheese with what seems like microwaved pork as well.
Mac and cheese was 1 flavor and it wasn't good I would have been happier with a box of kraft in comparison.. even the dish it's served in when I brought it home looks exactly like a microwaveable meal as if they didn't even replate it or serve it in something else aside from what they boxed and bagged it in.
The pulled pork just tastes like meat with no flavor no seasoning just nuked meat, I've been poor and homeless in the past so with regard to wanting to waste the food i ate as much as I was able to with the help of the only thing with flavor.. the sauce.. the piece of bread smothered in garlic SALT not just garlic and herbs? Salty bread... I don't know.. to charge $20 for a Marie calendar sized and portioned meal for it to be this bland and awful? My girlfriend shared this with me and also only took a few bites..
I've worked in kitchens and I've served amazing food time and time again, this was just a stomachache of a meal.
(Picture with hand is reference to the portion of this meal and no it was not heaping upon opening this was quite literally the same portion you'd get in the frozen section at any grocery store but for $20...)

Great burgers! And I love the "juice boob" as I call it. 🤣 The burger comes wrapped in paper which will collect all the juice so it doesn't run down your arms. 👍🏻 Great idea. If you know, you know. 🤣
