This was my first time whale watching and it was very impressive. I could only scream with excitement as I saw a whales swimming closer to our Cruise ship, jumping and swinging their tails as if waving hello. And the service here is good. They called us and waited for us because we were a little late. I recommend this place, it's not too expensive and worth it.

The whale watching with 7 Seas Whale Watch was a lovely way to spend the afternoon. The boat was average size and therefore the quantity of passengers was more manageable then it’s competitors. The staff was knowledgeable, especially Matt, and they were simultaneously conducting research throughout the tour. We sighted a Finback whale and followed a mother and calf pair of humpbacks. We visited in October and knew to claim a seat indoors during the journey and the other less knowledgeable passengers wished they had done the same as the air and sea spray is chilly at this time of year. The staff was also prepared with sea sickness bags and mints to quell those who fell ill. The price was well worth the experience.

We were VERY impressed with the tour and experience as this was my second time. The staff were all fantastic - especially the naturalist that provided some context re the whales. And they often came in and checked in on us as to how we were doing.

Snacks are available on board to purchase and prices are quite reasonable. There are bathrooms on the boat.

There is enough seating available and they are good. We did start seeing some whales the moment we entered the feeding area and they did make sure we got some good views. We did see a jellyfish, seals lions and 3 whales.
The total time we took was 4 hours. Totally worth it.

My wife and I have taken tours with the 7 Seas crew twice now! First in 2022 and a second time just last week. Both excursions wildly exceeded expectations and truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience! (Until we came a second time 😉)

Last week we saw multiple humpback whales during our trip and even had the pleasure witnessing a triple breach, among tons of additional activity from multiple whales.

The guides have always been incredibly friendly and knowledgeable as well. A true pleasure!

Any time we hear friends and family making plans to visit the north east, we ALWAYS recommend 7 Seas Whale Watch. Thank you for such great experiences!! Definitely will be back!

For our 5th year in a row 7 Seas did not disappoint ! We were lucky enough to go out 3 times over 2 days including the surprise availability of a Sunset Cruise. The crew are amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and caring. Worth your time and money whenever you are fortunate enough to be in Gloucester. Can't wait to go back again next year !

Everyone seems to gravitate to the outdoor seating which may be less comfortable for the 3-4 hours. If you sit inside - you get very comfy seats and you will be going back and forth depending on where the whales are in relation to the boat so no worries!

We got to see so many whales (2 groups of 3, and 2 groups of 2) as well as a couple seals! The guide was wonderful in explaining the different whales and how they tell them apart, as well as their migration patterns. A fantastic experience all around

My wife and I had a great time!! We were able to see humpback whales super close! And some other species!

Strongly recommend them! Not a lot of people on the ship, the snacks and drinks are reasonable priced.

Bring sunglasses and backpacks! Dress warm, it’s gets windy and cold.
