We visited Bruce and Lori in September and were the only visitors and had VIP service. Beautiful place located on top of a hill with amazing views of near by mountains. We had large room with separate bedroom, spacious bathroom and amazing views. Outside patio around the house with multiple relaxing chairs and tables if you want to relax and have snacks. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully served, different every day. They have chickens and ducks, so we were treated with fresh eggs daily. Bruce and Lori gave us maps and advice were to go, eat, best places for views and pictures. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend to stay at Yosemite Sierra.

We were very happy to stumble upon the Yosemite Sierra View Bed & Breakfast when we were looking for a quick getaway from LA. Lori and Bruce were very welcoming and made our stay fantastic! Our suite was roomy and comfortable with a comfy king bed, a living room, and a nice bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and the view from our room and the patio outside was beautiful! Lori and Bruce gave us excellent advice and very specific information that helped us plan our visits to local sites easy. I highly recommend this B&B!

After a 4 hours roadtrip we arrived at the hotel. Just as we left the car Bruce came out of the house and greeted us friendly. He brought us to our apartment and gave us an great introduction of the apartment.||||It's a perfect hotel for people who like animals - there are two sweet dogs, four shy, but sweet little cats. They have a small fenced area where they have nine chickens and one duck.||||||We had two beautiful comfy rooms a terrace with a awesome view of the Yosemite Park. Bruce and Lori provided us with a beautiful breakfast. On Saturday they made us pancake with scrambled eggs from their chickens. On Sunday we had egg Benedict's with tomatoes from their garden. Lori recommended us a route for a hike in Yosemite National Park.||||It was the best and most friendly service I ever had in a Hotel. Thank you very much Bruce and Lori!||||Best regards ||Luis

My husband, 2 dogs, & I thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay at Yosemite Sierra View. Lori & Bruce were so welcoming & hospitable. Their B&B was incredibly clean & they took extra measures to sanitize common areas. We felt very safe & comfortable staying there during the COVID-19 pandemic. Breakfast was so delicious & made with fresh, high quality ingredients. Lori & Bruce also provided "off the beaten path" recommendations for activities in the area. We would definitely stay there again the next time we visit Yosemite!

Bruce and Lori are wonderful hosts! The view was lovely, the rooms were spacious, the breakfasts were delicious. They left our rooms alone (unless we would have asked for something) but asked daily if we needed anything and recognized that our youngest really likes bananas and not kiwi. Each morning they would give us a map and information/stories about the area we were visiting and usually Bruce would greet us from their balcony when we would return to see how our day or meal was. Also, their dog Maui is super fun and friendly, our youngest had fun playing with her! Sooooo much better than a hotel, worth the extra $! Lori has a book she's written about their experiences with starting the B&B, I didn't get it finished but there are some very entertaining stories in it. My only complaints were that the rooster obviously didn't like me, crowed| whenever I went by, and Bruce was bossy, telling me I couldn't do any cleanup (mom is on vacation too, or something like that) 😀 They have a saying "Enter as guests, leave as friends", that sums up their personalities. All in all one of the best places we've ever stayed!

My wife and I booked 2 nights at this B&B. We had a great time staying with host Bruce and Lori. Truly really nice and genuine people. They were really helpful on local knowledge and gave us plenty of great advise on different things to do and places to eat. The room was perfect for my wife and I as we celebrated our Ann. . Great views and loved the animals(chicken,duck,cats & dogs)We will definitely be back.

Here's my long overdue review.

My stay at this wonderful Bed and Breakfast was back in May 2018.
I had more or less given up finding a Miniature Schnauzer (dog) friendly accommodation for our last minute visit to Yosemite National Park.
All hotels in the area that allowed dogs were completely booked so I started to search for alternate accommodations.

I called the Sierra View B & B and talked to Lori, the owner, but unfortunately they were booked. She even called a few local places for me but had the same results- no availability anywhere.

Lori ended up offering to rearrange their home to make room for us just to make sure we had a place to stay! Wow, who does that?! 👍 🙂 🌟🌻

Once we arrived to the B & B, Lori and Bruce provided valuable information on a great place to eat dinner and directions inside Yosemite National Park so we could maximize our time since we only had 1 day. Upon check out, Bruce provided us with detailed instructions to get to our next destination-San Francisco.

I can’t begin to tell you how much this meant to me and we will always be grateful for Lori and Bruce's hospitality. Even though it was a short stay, it's a memory we'll share for many years. ❤️

Bruce & Lori, thank you again so much. We hope to return one day soon.

The location of this BnB is excellent. It provides a wonderful and enjoyable view. Lori and Bruce were very accommodating and hospitable. The breakfast was pretty and delicious. This couple is very personable and down to earth. Very knowledgeable about the the history and sites. They helped us with planning some various options and routes for our site seeing tours. They shared information on the food and restaurants around the area. Great conversationalists, fun stories and dialogue. Their motto is, “you are welcomed as guests but leave as friends.”
