What a fantastic day out! We went up for breakfast, the cafe opens earlier, and then went in to see the birds. We had plenty time to look around before the first flying display. The guy was clearly passionate about the birds and told us all about them while they flew around and over our heads! The first two flying displays lasted an hour with 4 different birds in each. The final display had 1 bird and lasted about 20 minutes. In between each display we looked around then had refreshments in the cafe. I cannot recommend a visit highly enough, it was amazing. Lots of families, a school trip and couples, something for everyone! All the staff were spoke to were friendly. We live locally and will definitely be regular visitors from now on.

The full-day experience at World of Wings was unforgettable! Flying a range of stunning birds across different locations was incredible, and the knowledgeable, friendly staff made it even better. Their genuine care for the birds truly stood out.

Even without the experience package, it’s a fantastic day out, but I highly recommend the full experience if you can. Perfect for families, couples, or anyone looking for something special. Highly recommended!

Had a brilliant day at World of Wings. We arrived in time for the first flight demonstration at 11am.
The handlers were knowledgeable and gave interesting insight into the birds. They were able to answer questions that the audience had. There was a good variety of birds in the demonstrations - such as owls, vulture, Harris hawks, kookaburra.
We had brunch in the cafe which was delicious. Staff were lovely.
We stayed for the full day and watched all 3 demos, which were the highlight of the day and we enjoyed seeing the rest of the birds up close and reading about them. Fantastic day out!
We got a good deal for tickets on Groupon and I would recommend making sure you open the voucher and screenshot the QR code before you arrive at the centre (thanks to the staff for that tip). I struggled to get a signal on the day.
Wrap up well if it's the least bit chilly and a hat is probably a good idea for more than one reason!

My daughter attended World of Wings for a photography event. My daughter is only 17 and is autistic so attending new places can be extremely challenging for her. From the minute we arrived she received such a warming welcome she felt at ease straight away. Everyone she met was lovely and so accommodating. Fiona who guided the event took on board that my daughter required to wear her head phones for the full event to ensure her anxiety was kept at a minimum, Fiona acknowledged her condition and reminder her that if she required any help or support just to ask. The full group was just lovely and it was so nice to see such a varied age group. Myself and husband had breakfast in the cafe and attended the world of wings, I was so impressed with the amount of different birds. We had lunch in the cafe also and stayed to watch 2 shows, which seemed completely different to others I’ve seen, they were so enjoyable and knowledgable. My daughter got amazing shots and already booked in for the next 2 events! What a fab place to visit.

Absolutely amazing time at this venue. There are a lot of birds whom you can see, all within reach, and close proximity. The setting is a little tired, but the birds are well looked after, and it’s not a huge place, but our kids loved it! There’s an education room, and a very good cafe which is reasonably priced with a small play area and benches outside the cafe.

Best of all, were the flight shows: 11/1/3pm. We stayed and watched the first and second show, which both had different birds. The handlers and presenter were superb, with lots of information and a lot of laughs, too! We were within 30cms of the birds at time. The trainer never ever made it a show, but explained instinct and trust between bird and trainer, and that the birds are never forced to do anything - only at their will and on their terms, to build the ongoing trust, with some gentle positive reinforcement with treats.

This was, without a doubt, a brilliant day. We have done many visits to zoo’s, experience days, amusement parks etc, but, this wins hands down!

I’m no photographer, but the images will show you how close we got - the pricing was super reasonable. We will be back for an experience day for my eldest son.

World of wings is a great place to visit, well worth it especially for families. Free parking on site, a small cafe with great food, extremely friendly staff and wheelchair accessible.

The birds are well cared for and it's clear to see that the staff love doing what they do and they really do care for these animals.

The small cafe on site has plenty to choose from with welcoming staff. There’s a small inclosed play area. I’ve never once had a bad experience in world of wings I can’t recommend it enough.

What an amazing experience! Truly educational visit for both kids and adults. Lovely cafe with a little playground for little ones. Well worth planning a visit for all 3 flying shows (11am, 1pm and 3pm)! Do not miss vultures flying! Great staff, very helpful and informative.
