Dinner waitstaff was wonderful as always. Actual dinner was a very skinny shepherds pie and a small scoop of fried veggies. Several of our party have dietary issues and could not eat anything because we were not asked about dietary conditions or given a choice of dinner. Some were able to eat everything but will have to get food on the way home to make up for the small portions. I get saving money but quality cannot be sacrificed for the price paid, otherwise we will not be coming back.

Peace in the Valley was a great show with excellent singers. Our group enjoyed the show very much! The food was another story. The broccoli slaw was full of tough stalk- like pieces with no flavor. The Shepherds pie was just ok but, disappointed that it was served as an entree at such a nice event.
Tea was very good.
The servers had a lot of people to serve and feel that extra help would have made serving easier. This is the first time that our dinner plates were left on the tables when the show started.
Hoping my comments will be addressed because we love to come to the Wohlfahrt Haus.

We went to the matinee show for The Foreigner on Sunday and it was extremely funny with superb acting! Food was ok, better than expected, and the sweet tea was great. Our waitress was also an actress in the play, so props to her for doing both jobs at once! I was impressed. Would definitely come back for another show.

I was with a group of 7 women attending a matinee performance of Peace in the Valley. The performance of these talented men and women was excellent! The food however was the worst we have ever had. On the table upon arrival was the usual chips and cheese and a very nice little salad. I am very sorry to report that the main course was the worst Shepherds Pie with an unrecognizable vegetable medley of greens any of us had ever tasted? Certainly NOT good. Most all of us ate not more than a spoonful or two. We were not the only ones surrendering our main course to be trashed or disposed of. It was very disappointing.
The desert was a brownie that was very stale and hard. Also surrendered most if not all to be disposed of.
Certainly a financial waste of money. Very disappointing! Please, please, you have to serve a better meal or learn to cook. 😞

Excellent show! One would expect some gaffs and errors from budding artists and privately owned theatre, however the “Peace in the Valley” gospel revue was nothing short of professional. The only small glitch was one singer’s microphone was crackling while he sang, which was apparently corrected before the next song. Otherwise everyone’s performance was practically flawless.

The show was uplifting and every performer seemed to share a piece of their soul with the audience. I highly recommend going to partake of this wonderful performance. By the way, the food was also good. Although my focus was more on the show rather than the food. Congrats to everyone that was involved in this production.

Had a wonderful time at the "Foreigner " last night. Food was superb, and the play was TOP of the line acting and performance. So grateful to have this entertainment "jewel" in our area.!!!

We have had season tickets in the past and always enjoyed shows and meals. The Elvis tribute we saw last night was awesome but the meal was terrible. Chicken was dry and tough and the rice and broccoli was plain and very bland. The dessert was a 1 1/2 inch square hard block that tasted like peanut butter. Not sure what it was. Service is not quite what it use to be either. We do hope that meals and service will improve. We have always enjoyed our evenings at the wohlphardt!

This was an experience that I enjoyed. It was a convenient spot to meet family & enjoy time together with dinner & a show. I've been by here several times, you can see it clearly from the highway. Up close esthetically the exterior could be improved upon. When you walk in & go to the bathrooms you notice the place really needs a face-lift. This doesn't distract from the main purpose of coming. There is room for improvement for hearing the instructions from the host when he came to the lobby & perhaps seat those with physical limitations first. The host was very welcoming & put a smile on your face with his interactions. We had a table of eight with one person being in a wheelchair. In order to accommodate our party of 8 it required going down 3 platforms which included 2 steps for each platform. We had to bump the wheelchair down each step & carry up when it was time to leave. I imagine the staff may assist if we didn't have persons in our group who could not but I'd suggest asking prior to coming. Tables were small, aisles were not very wide & made it tight for a person in a wheelchair to maneuver. Staff was very friendly, personable, and worked as fast as they could in a short time frame. The entire meal was delightful & we could see the stage from where we were seating. The band was lively & put on a fabulous show. You can tell they work hard & are dedicated to their craft. I'd suggest you experience at least once in order to decide based on your budget & what is showing if you may return again.
