A fascinating adventure with a crew that went above and beyond to ensure that your train ride would be very memorable. Excellent service and fabulous food. They gave us a tour of the different train cars after our meal. We were free to roam the entire train as we traveled down the tracks on our excursion. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the train.

Had such a nice time. Peter did such a good job informing everybody and answering questions. The girl at the front desk was so nice, and check-in was a breeze. Didn't care much for the young guy on the wine and cheese car. The train averages around 8 to 9 miles per hour. A nice ride along the road and through the woods. We may come back and try a different venue. Nice large seating with windows. They have a bar serving beer and pop and wine. You can move about through the different cars as you go along.

We purchased the Santa pizza party and had a fun snd memorable time. It was a cold day but the cabins stayed warm if we kept the door closed. We never had to put our coats on. The bathrooms had plenty of space and very clean. The pizzas were ok. Additional beverages could be purchased in the ding car. The best part was Mr. and Mrs Clause. They were the most realistic I have ever seen. They were very friendly and socialized with everyone while we waited to board. I would recommend bringing a short game or coloring to entertain young children.

We very much enjoyed the trip. The train was very nice. The food was great. The views weren’t that great. Due in part to the fact that it’s November and due in part to the junkyard along the route. Some commentary would have been nice. Overall if you like a train ride this is a good one. Also, I appreciated the poster talking about the need for passenger rail in the US. Finally, the staff was great. Finally finally, spend some time in Spooner’s downtown. There is a great local art co-op, a general store, a book and yarn shop under the same roof, an antique store and a nice brewery. It’s good to see a thriving downtown there.

We booked the “Dinner Train Ride” and I very happy with the evening! Initially I was unsure how the night would go or if the 2.5 hour trip would be too long but the dinner had excellent food and staff which was included multiple courses over a period of time so you could enjoy the food, view, and evening without feeling rushed. There was time for viewing other cars during the trip, which was interesting and elegantly done. This is an excellently done dinner night and I would highly recommend to anyone!!

overall, somewhat of a pleasant experience. Wish the ride would be more scenic. Couple places were pretty cool. Our bartender Caleb was very friendly and nice. Highly recommend his serving. The young man named Andrew a little put office not always kind. The dinner appetizer was excellent and dessert. Main course my fiancé had, a beef very dry and I myself had a shrimp dish, which was not very good. A very cool concept for anyone who loves trains. Rooms are small and our particular ones were cold. The passengers were very nice and friendly and outgoing. We drove over for hours to see this particular train ride. Maybe not worth our time again. breakfast in the morning was French toast, sausage and scrambled eggs, which were excellent. The town of Spooner is a mercy and we loved going to lorie‘s bakery. I’ll add some excellent pictures below. Just if you are a little picky on dinner, you may want to try just the ride.

The train, ride and staff were great. The gift shop had a lot to choose from and was reasonably priced. The pizza on the train was not at all to our liking, it tasted like the cheap chef boyardee box kit. They could do some landscaping outside to make it more of an experience instead of just looking like an abandoned lot. If taking pictures, I would suggest walking to were your enter the train so you don’t have the reflection of glass from your room window

If you've never taken a train ride, it was good. I thought the train would have made a circle, but it went so far then just backed up. It goes really slow and we went at a time where it got dark right away so we only got to see about 45 mins of scenery so go in September or early October. Food was good, we didn't get our coffee with our desserts otherwise we enjoyed it
