My husband & I just got back from a great 4 day California Adventure with Dylan from White Wolf Tours. He picked us up in his Mercedes SUV that was spotless every morning he picked us up. He always had the car stocked with plenty of water our entire journey. We started with a San Francisco City Tour where he showed us all the great sites with great photos ops & had history & interesting facts to go with all of them. We then headed to Yosemite where we did some great waterfall hikes. He shared a lot of information about the park and great stories from his & his friends’ experiences. We then headed back west and went down along the coast on Hwy 1. He knew lots of great pull off spots & he even took us to a shipwreck! He had lots of great recommendations for restaurants & shopping. We toured Hearst Castle & continued down Hwy 1 through Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, & Malibu. He drove us through Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive & Sunset Blvd. Dylan was informative and very easy to talk to and accommodating throughout the trip. The trip exceeded all our expectations. Definitely recommend for someone who is looking for a personalized, experienced, and worry free tour.

We just got home from a trip of a life time. We can’t recommend booking with White Wolf Private Tours enough! We did a San Francisco and backpacking tour in Yosemite. Our trip was amazing and Dylan took care of every little detail. His knowledge of the city and Yosemite made the trip so personal. He even helped make sure we were prepared for our hike with packing and training tips so we could just show up and enjoy. I am a painter and wanted a custom tour of Yosemite, where I could camp and paint in peace, away from the summer crowds. I called White Wolf Tour and they showed me a great time. Very professional and recommend their services to everyone.I look forward to coming back next year to hike Half Dome!

A very late review here. We booked a day-trip tour with White Wolf last year. My family and I were flying in from the other side of the world, and we only had a day to visit Yosemite in our tightly-packed itinerary. While there were a handful of day-trip tour packages online, we quickly concluded that paying a little extra for a private tour was going to be worth it, and the folks at White Wolf definitely proved it.

I could write a whole article about how great Dylan was from the initial phone call all the way to the day of the trip. He was very helpful in helping us figure out what our itinerary was going to be given our interests, and on the day itself, he adapted to how the day went and how we were dealing with some pretty bad jet lag. He was clearly knowledgable of the area, and he made sure that we'd hit the classic spots, but he also had this great quiet spot by the river for lunch with an incredible view of El Capitan. This was definitely the highlight of it.

I'd happily recommend anyone looking for a tour company in Northern California to go with the great folks at White Wolf Private Tours.

I had wanted to go backpacking for a long time and I was lucky I went to the Half Dome hike with Dylan last August, since this tour was more than I’ve ever imagined. I’ve felt as if I still haven’t thanked him properly until I write this review the right way.
I’m from Europe and this experience was something totally different then anything I’ve experienced so far. In those 4 days and nights I met new beautiful people who I shared this experience with and with some I still share a beautiful friendship today. Hiking has this enchanting way of connecting people since there’s no signal and you’re all going through this new experience, connecting with nature and yourself.
Dylan was an amazing, communicative, friendly and nowledgable guide who always had fun facts up his sleeves, which made the experience unforgettable and legendary. The communication with Dylan was top tier, he guided us from the beginning on what to wear, how to prepare, what to bring, what to do and not to do in the woods etc., which was very helpful since that was my first hiking experience.
Some beautiful memories we had was that the last day he showed us an amazing spot where we were able to see the Milky way in the sky, clear as a day, and the next morning even though it was so cold at 5ish am, we got up a bit earlier to see the pretties sunrise I’ve ever seen. As the sun was starting to show in the sky just behind the Half Dome, I felt as if everything in the tour was just perfect in a way that I wouldn’t have added or taken anything from the experience.
Since then life continued on and I feel like this experience made me reconnect with the nature and a part of me that was so mesmerized by nature as a kid and that I had since then forgotten. There’s so much more I could write about this tour but I’ll just leave a little mystery for anyone wanting to go and experience it themselves!

'The Boys' on a Yosemite Tour, guided by Dylan. We highly recommend White Wolf Tours. WW 'educated' us well going in, and gently led-from-behind to give us a great wilderness experience.
Be conditioned for climbing up and down with 30+ pounds on your back, and believe WW when they advise what to (not) carry.
WW-provided custom meals were great. Didn't know dehydrated meals could taste so good. WW's love and respect for Yosemite came thru. They follow the rules to insure these parks stay pristine for generations to come. Thanks WW and Dylan!
