Great place to stop with your dog!

Dogs not allowed in the fenced area but there is a good amount of shade and soft grass surrounding the parking lot. And they have dog bags!

The tourist center restrooms only available M-F 9-5. And didn’t find a water fountain so always a good idea to have a gallon or more in your car

The West Wendover Welcome Center has a lot of brochures not only for the nearby cities but also for nearby states.
There is a park across the street. The bathrooms are open during business hours. The bathrooms have toilet seat covers. The faucets in the women’s bathroom sprayed water all over the place.
There are plenty of parking spots in front of the welcome center and many of the parking spots are located under shade of trees which is very pleasant

Awesome playground and picnic area nearby. Free EV charging. Some outdoor barbecue charcoal grills as well as covered area. We visited here during the weekday without anyone in sight at the park. Spent almost 2 hours there with our kids who had a blast. This playground would rival most larger city parks.

Free EV Chargers (though only the L2 was working), nice grass areas and a playground/park. Visitor center gift shop isn't open on weekends unfortunately. Seems odd since most visitors would be there on weekends.

The lady that works there was very great.i know she told us her name but. It has slipped my mind. She told us about the luner crater we had so much fun there. So glad she told us we would have just drove by if not for her. She was so sweet. This world needs more like her. She made our day and brighten our trip.

West Wendover Visitors Center was amazing. The lady we talked with was very helpful. BUT, the rest of people we came in contact with in West Wendover were not very friendly. No smiles and questions were answered with "no" or "nope"

Thoroughly enjoyed the visit, a virtual 'show and tell' of trinkets and stories. Not a question that couldn't be answered with perfect clarity and back stories of the air base, race course, Wendover Will sign, points of interest, history, and mystery.
