This was a great KOA! We were able to get a tent spot last minute when driving thru. Older KOA like many are except this one has been meticulously maintained and is very clean. Bathrooms were spotless. As was our tent site. The woman working the front desk was very nice and helpful. And they have a great little spot in the office/store where we could warm up leftovers, have dinner and do a little work on our computers. Definitely would recommend this campground to anyone needing a place to stay!

This is a great location for seeing the salt flats (only about a 20 minute drive). The office was open late which we were grateful for because the others we’ve stayed at this week have closed at 5! Aside from the interstate, it’s a quiet, peaceful place to sleep. The bathrooms were super clean; the only thing I thought was funky was the men’s and women’s bathrooms aren’t entirely separated and the showers are shared. Otherwise a nice KOA!

Overall we had a nice tent camping stay here, but some things were misleading about the tent site we stayed at. The sand pits listed for tent sites are more gravel than sand and not that soft, I had a very hard time driving metal tent pegs into out site and ruined a few. The tent sites have a neighborhood right behind them, with fence that can be seen through in many places, so that felt not very private. We moved our tent into corner of site with tighter fence, so felt a little better. One downside of KOA and tent camping especially is that some road trippers that have reserved sites are coming in late and setting up camp way after dark and up till midnight in this case. This is something KOA allows during quiet hours so be aware of that. It can be a little hard to get to top sleep early due to that. This KOA is quite far off highway but prevailing night winds still blow some highway noise your way. We were concerned about being here on hot summer day, but desert starts cooling off right after dark quickly. The showers were good and hot, the and bathrooms clean. The pool was great for our kiddo, but not very clear could use some filtering. The laundry was welcome addition, that we utilized. The staff was really friendly and helpful.

if you have a pet , be careful . goat heads are the most dangerous to walk by and they are everywhere here. your pet will step on some feet will get infected and will cause issues. look at the bottom of your shoes because you will track them in your rv .i put down a heavy tarp and that wasn't enough protection from goat heads. we had to stay and from now on ill have to push out to Winnemucca which is way safer . Wendover is definitely not at fault because its a natural thing of mother nature but be careful

This is a very nice campground for its location. Google satellite view doesn't do it justice. It is very clean and well maintained. The person who checked us in was friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and well set up with chairs and loungers, and wonderful after a day on the road. There is a playground and volleyball court adjacent to the office.

A one night stay to break up a long drive. Mostly gravel except the entrance and in front of the office area. If you have a dog, be aware there is a lot of puncture vine (goat head). Fine for an overnight, not sure I would stay longer. When we checked in, the office was locked. However, our name and site were listed on the door. Staff called about 8 that evening to make sure we had arrived. I thought that was good service.

A one night stay on our way to Salt Lake City. The location is convenient to lots of gas/diesel stations and restaurants. The KOA has gravel roads and sites. Beware if you have a pup because they have prickly burs that can get stuck on paws and fur. It's a decent park for the area. Very clean restrooms. Staff very nice. A good one nighter.

This was a nicely located KOA. We stayed 1 night. Spots were long enough for a big rig & tow. Level, easy to get around in. Small store. Located near casinos & restaurants.
