Upon arrival did not have the correct type of rooms as we booked. We were celebrating an anniversary and had 6 rooms booked. After about 30 minutes of trying to correct the room situation nothing was done so we just took what was given. Some of the rooms had dirty towels and we requested new ones but never got them. The front desk said she is all by herself and can't go get them. One of the rooms had pet hair all over the couch and that was also not cleaned. Second day when we were celebrating our anniversary we were in the main lobby lounge area. The night before they had the fireplace on and since it was cold felt really good and nice. But when we and other guests asked for it to be turned on the staff were very rude, front desk forgot her name but the tag said superviser and the bar lady incharge that evening. The excuses were different for each of us. Serious attitude issues. This place was nice before the change of ownership. Will never go back and don't recommend. So many other options along the main highway.

Wayfinder Bishop is the best hotel in Bishop. I love staying here every time I come to Bishop. Last time I went was 2 months ago and looking forward to go on Tuesday Nov. 19 to Nov. 21. I enjoy my time every time here. So peaceful with the river running and there fire pit. Great staff and beautiful, clean rooms not to mention Great staff and services. Only thing need it to make my stay a 5 star is there breakfast like my 5 star hotel in Mammoth Empeiria High Sierra Hotel. Is so simple freshly made but super delicious. ?

Quiet, peaceful room for a great rest! Upgraded to a creek view which was wonderful. Beds were excellent. Close to restaurants but set back so that we were not disturbed by traffic sounds. Hotel decor features stunning photographs of the region all along the hallways. A perfect place to stay in Bishop!

This is THE place in Bishop to stay. I enjoyed my 3 night stay here very much. I spent every day running around hiking and touring the beautiful Sierra and White ranges. After lots of chain hotels, I found this hotel decor unique and inviting. My room had wonderful comfortable chairs to relax in and a huge comfortable bed. I had a fridge, a Keurig, a nice bathroom/shower area. The climate control was great. I had a little balcony that was nice at night overlooking the cute creek.

The room was very clean and professionally cleaned every day. Breakfast was very nice. The menu didn't change, but I am a big fan of sausage gravy on biscuits, so I was happy every morning.

The staff behind the desk were all very nice and friendly. Breakfast staff was also very nice. I am so happy I picked this place to base my adventures from. I had originally thought to stay in Mammoth, but I am so happy I chose Bishop and this property.

Being the best hotel in town, we were not disappointed. The deluxe room was very spacious and comfortable, with a private balcony overlooking the lovely garden and stream. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. The only negative was the included breakfast, which was the typical reconstituted scrambled eggs, bulk hash browns and sausage patties, etc. But we planned for this, and enjoyed our own breakfast of yogurt, granola, fruits, and coffee on our balcony.

Overall, we will definitely stay here again, when visiting to enjoy the amazing nearby Bristlecone Pine trees, and wonderful fall foliage around the lakes to the west.

This hotel didn't look great from the outside or the lobby, but the room was really nice. Super clean, simple, nice bed, TV, mini fridge, microwave - all the things you need including iron, toiletries and hair dryer. Simple motel-style buildings but surprisingly quiet since it sits back from the main road.

We love the Wayfinder hotel. This is the second time we've stayed here after a long day of hiking. The hotel is very nice, clean and quiet. The room is very cozy with a nice balcony overlooking the creek. It's perfect for relaxing. They have one of the best breakfasts too and a nice free laundry room. They are conveniently located next to Schat's Bakery so you can walk right over. Looking forward to staying here again

Stayed at the Wayfinder Bishop to do some hiking in the Sierras. The free breakfast is great and little touches like a filtered water tap were much appreciated. Rooms are comfortable and clean and there's a nice pool area with a hot tub. Nice lobby bar too! Will definitely be coming back!
