Great location in beautiful, historic Cedarburg. My check in was seamless and the desk staff was very cordial and helpful. Lots of perks with the room. Wine and cheese tasting, which I unfortunately had to miss. The breakfast the next day was outstanding! Our room was lovely, clean, and well appointed. Thanks for a lovely stay. I will certainly be back.

We love staying at the Washington House - The rooms are always in fantastic shape, and the service is great. We always look forward to the wine and cheese in the evening, as well as the fantastic homemade breakfast in the morning. This is truly a gem! We'll be back!!

I was totally disappointed in our stay. I would have expected a better value for the 350.00 per night. We stayed in the Schroeder House for one night in March for a birthday. The room was totally used and worn. It had a terrible musty smell. The shower was advertised as a stand up shower, which is exactly what it was. It was like being in a vertical coffin. There wasn't enough room in there to even bend over. The stairs to reach our room were very steep and treacherous. It very well could be a historical building, but they have done nothing to improve upon it or update any of the worn furniture. Our stay also included breakfast, as it is a bed and breakfast. The breakfast is a continental breakfast. We arrived shortly after they opened. There were a few different baked goods, which were nothing short of what you might find in a grocery store. They offered a sort of egg casserole that was filled with tasteless potatoes. It was very dry and cold. I do not recommend this place. We were very unhappy with it.

Right in the heart of downtown, you are able to walk to all things Cedarburg.
The rooms are each charming and unique. The beds and linens are always so soft, comfortable, and warm!
There is a wine and cheese hour every day from 5-6 and breakfast from 7-10. The breakfast is homemade at the inn and is top quality!
The bathtubs are a nice way to end a day of shopping, and the customer service is ALWAYS above and beyond. We have stayed here for years and will always come back!

We love the Washington House Inn! Everyone is always welcoming and friendly. Best breakfast ever…the harvest scones were amazing. It’s a nice get away any time of the year. We’ll definitely be back….we’ve been coming for 35 years! Thanks for a great stay.

Wonderful place to stay! The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! Everyone was super nice and accommodating, would definitely come back 🙂

My daughter, granddaughter and I spent the weekend at the Washington House Inn. We had a great time shopping, playing games and enjoying the many wonderful places to eat nearby. The Inn is cozy and accommodating. The breakfasts were excellent and the evening wine and cheese was a great time to get together before heading out for dinner. We look forward to making this an annual event.

Enjoyed two days in Cedarburg with my husband for our Birthdays. First time at a B&B style hotel. I was expecting our room to be bigger, but the hot steam shower in January was very nice. All the staff from the Inn keepers,cleaning ladies and the bakers making homemade delicious breakfast were all very friendly. Great little town for shopping, fish fries, and wine tasting.
