My stay at the Voyager Inn was awful. The room were not clean. I had to wipe down the bathroom and dust the furniture. The manager was very rude.
The manager didn't want to give out extra towels. I was in Aliceville for my uncle's home going service. The Voyager is the only place to stay in Aliceville. I definitely do not recommend this motel.

Stayed there for 2 days(3 rooms) from Texas watched them come in nd clean. 3hrs later I get a message from the owner saying I stole two ice buckets after talking nd telling him where they were he then says well we threw one away because it was dirty so how did I steal them if you threw one away nd the other one was on top of the clothes rack? Wow! Very lazy workers, half clean rooms, remotes didn’t work, dust on majority of everything, the chairs are so nasty you’re scared to sit on them(visibly NASTY!) ask him for sheets to cover them he said he didn’t have any. Very disappointed with the accusations of a cheap dirty ice bucket, which they don’t even have a working ice machine so go figure. Owner even told me he wouldn’t rent to any of my family members now, how sorry is that? Sad nd bad business

It was OK. Had to find a place to stay after minor damage to a rental close to this motel. A lot of channels on the TV and the pressure of water in the shower was very good. Only knock was the out of time design in the room. An upgrade in style is warranted.

To Whom it May Concern:||||I can sum-up Voyager Inn in Aliceville, AL as safe, clean, hospitable, continually maintained and updated, and very reasonably priced. ||||I have stayed at this motel for literally decades now. What is left of the old family farm is nearby, so it is very convenient for us.||||The exterior is well maintained from the roof to the parking lot. They always seem to have some type of upgrade or cosmetic efforts in progress. ||||The rooms are well maintained and cleaned daily. I have always found the beds to be comfortable and they appear to be new, or recently replaced.||||The owners are very friendly and accommodating. They will go extra mile for their guest, and yes that how you are treated. As an appreciated and respected guest.

Is this a 4 or 5 star hotel? No but I have been treated much worse at a higher rated hotel. To begin with, this is a motel but super clean, very reasonable and the owners are very nice people. Over the last 2 years, we have stayed here many times. They know us and treat us extremely well. The biggest drawback is that the town is very small and doesn't offer much. We bring our own food and look at it as a weekend of relaxation. We have always felt safe here and the town of Aliceville seems to be peaceful. We will continue to stay here for as long as there is a reason to go to Aliceville. The rooms have been update recently and are very comfortable.

I was coming up to visit a friend at the Federal Prison, which is unpleasant enough to see her in that horrible place, but my stay at the Voyager made it easier. Free WiFi, small fridge and microwave, and the non-smoking room was actually non-smoking. I had a flat screen TV with DirectTV and a very comfortable bed. I really can't say anything bad about the place. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

Booked this for a family get together and was told I could cancel until one day before. Clerk said they are totally booked that time of year, so no problem. Called over a week before my stay to cancel and was told I would not receive credit for all nights. They would have to charge me for one night even though I cancelled over a week before the trip. Don't stay here. They require you pay up front and then won't refund your money.
