We wanted to get some local information but didn't really want to get into a conversation with anyone. This place was perfect. The brochures are plentiful and varied. The only thing that I would suggest is that when employees from the office walk by and make eye contact, at least say hello or good morning. I wasn't looking for any suggestions, just a feeling that the area appreciates visitors.
If you need some quick information about an area full of cool stuff, stop here. Take the elevator (right) to the 2nd floor. Brochures are right there.

It's been almost 20 years since I left the tourism industry. I spent many years working in Pinellas County, in leisure sales. I worked directly with the convention and visitors bureau on local, state, continental, and International markets back then. You guys you guys have always been pioneers, ALWAYS constant on the values of all markets considered.. and respecting the fact that marketing is marketing! The message has to be clear and concise for all markets. Everybody's money is the same. So as long we maintain safety and beauty of our environment, residents, and those seeking a little Peace in our paradise. I am so proud that the St Petersburg Clearwater convention and visitors bureau still has their LGBTQ+++++ link on their website.
The years that I spent in the industry, we were hoteliers, attractions, transportation... we all represented each other and our destination. We are part of Florida but I am glad we are still maintaining our identity! Kudos!

Beautiful costal city. Very clean with great shops and restaurants. Dog friendly for the most part. You will however want to avoid the beaches during the summer while the red tide is there. The smell is awe full and can be very irritating to your lungs and eyes.
