The chicken strips were fantastic! I really liked the breading on them. The meat was moist and broke apart easily. The fries were pretty dang good too!
The breakfast on the other hand wasn't as good. The hollandaise was very rich, too rich.
They accidentally brought us the wrong food, but they made it right without any issues. We appreciated that.

Located just across from Boomtown right off interstate 80 in Verdi it’s easy access both on and off the freeway.
Staff was very friendly and wasted no time filling my order. A dinner salad with blackened salmon, baked potato and vegetables. Salmon was little thin in size look like it came from the tail area, but it was cooked just right blackened and just right and very moistn addition the vegetables have black seasoning and the baked potatoes was What I expected.
Of course, being in Nevada, there’s a casino attached to that grill house. Just in case you wanted to leave some more money behind.

BBQ platter was dry and a sense of artificial smoke was detected. Tried again for breakfast and was also not impressed. The location is obviously new and it seems a bit sterile. Service was attentive. Coffee was bitter and of a cheap grade. Place needs to upgrade their recipes. The sterile atmosphere seems to have crept into the food as well. The piped in music was pretty good though.

Maybe it was just because it was the 1st of the year. Arrived and had to wait for a table. The 20 mins turned into 2.5 hours by the time we got the bill for the food. I battled with the slots and managed to get $73 back of the $100 I put in. The wait staff were nice enough, but the wait time to get our food ordered and delivered to the table was near the Lets Go someplace else call! There were a few folks there but not packed . Saw a few folks that were after us get food faster. Tried to make changes to the menu , but it's not allowed. So the food arrives and the ribs are good. Yet The baked potato was old and cold. My wife's steak was medium not what she ordered. Her potatoes was old and cold too. That's why we wanted French fries .The bill was $80 with the tip. So the place has been there 2 years I'm pretty sure if I come back I will stick to the faster foods. Not sure if the cooks can mess up a Burger and fries . Try not to sit on the side near the dishwasher. Strange smells on occasion.

Stopped here for breakfast on the way home from Reno. Glad we did! Delicious breakfast!! Everything cooked perfectly. Very clean restaurant. Not crowded. Good parking.

First time dining here. Ordered the chicken and rib special-ribs were fall off the bone. Chicken felt like it was reheated and tough. Not much flavor. Overall,it's worth the money and I would try it again just in case it was a one-off. Waitresses were nice.

My favorite place to have dinner is I love it friendly staff. Believe me, food is so much better than boomtown hotel

We ordered the chicken tenders with fries, garlic fries, quesadilla with chicken, pastrami sandwich and their entree Cobb salad with a chicken protein upgrade. Food was a bust for sure.

Chicken tenders were stale tasting like they had been refried or left on warm. That or the oil hasn't been changed. Fries were decent.

Garlic fries were missing Bleu cheese crumbles and barely had any garlic in the sauce. Felt more like an aioli drizzle. Service was good as they fixed this immediately and got our missing cheese.

Quesadilla was excellent according to my dad and came with salsa, sour cream and guacamole.

The pastrami sandwich was actually out of stock and was substituted for roast beef. The roast beef lacked flavor and even had a bone in it! Yikes! I know this establishment is newer but they need to get their act together.

The Cobb salad was inedible with brown lettuce leaves and additional chicken that tasted grilled but off. Nearly rancid like towards the end of shelf life.

Also note in updated menu pictures that there are time restrictions on breakfast, lunch and dinner. If their dinner and breakfast are as atrocious as their lunch menu, I don't recommend eating here at all.

The deli at Boomtown has significantly fresher ingredients even with its limited menu of pizza and sandwiches.

Another important note: your comps provided by the hotel and main casino may not work here and you'll be stiffed with full price 🙁
