Wonderful week spent with the Untold Italy Team in Northern Italy! Scenery, transportation, accommodations, food... all exceeded our expectations. One of the more impressive aspects of our trip was the planning they did. Weather forced a couple of pivots during our week but each day still yielded exactly what we were hoping for from the trip. Highly recommend this group! Will book with them again!!

Where to begin!

My aunt and I recently completed the Fall Tuscany Tour with Manuela (Manu).

From the moment we met Manu and the other 8 delightful strangers (travel family), I knew we had picked right and were in for a very special experience.

First Manu is absolutely everything you want in a tour guide. She is the cutest girl ever and has a joyful, kind, sweet, positive, fun spirit. She is extremely knowledgeable and has a unique way of making everyone feel special. We loved her!!!

I could write a book about our tour of Tucsany, but I've never been much of a writer, lol. All I can say is that it was perfetta from beginning to end. Every day brought magical, pinch me moments, and a few even brought me to tears. Just a beautiful, unique, special experience. I highly recommend booking a tour with Untold Italy. I have Pugila on my mind and hope to book in the future.

Our family of 8 recently returned from an unforgettable adventure through the stunning region of Puglia, Italy, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience, thanks to Untold Italy. From the meticulous planning to the flawless execution, every detail was thoughtfully arranged, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable trip.
Our host, Niki, was exceptional. Her warm hospitality and knowledge of the region made us feel welcome and well-informed. She created an itinerary that perfectly balanced cultural immersion, relaxation, and adventure, catering to all our interests and needs. We thought of Niki as part of family for the week. We already miss her!

A special mention goes to our driver, Vincenzo, whose professionalism and friendly demeanor added an extra layer of comfort to our journey. Navigating the picturesque roads of Puglia was a breeze with Vincenzo at the wheel. His local insights and recommendations enriched our experience, allowing us to discover hidden gems we might have otherwise missed. He even stopped for fresh peaches when we were discussing seasonal fruit. We are still dreaming of those peaches soaked in red wine!

The tour guides provided by Untold Italy were incredibly knowledgeable, enhancing our understanding and appreciation of Puglia’s rich history and culture. We participated in a variety of immersive activities, including olive oil tasting, mozzarella making, wine tasting, traditional dancing, and even a cooking class with a renowned chef. Each activity was thoughtfully chosen to give us a true taste of local life.

Our accommodations were nothing short of spectacular. We stayed in a charming masseria, a traditional farmhouse, and a unique cave hotel, both offering incredible comfort and spectacular views.

Katy was fantastic in the initial stages of planning. Her excellent communication through conversations and video calls ensured that all our preferences and needs were met, setting the stage for a perfect trip.

The highlights of our trip included exploring the charming towns of Alberobello, with its iconic trulli houses, and Matera, known for its ancient cave dwellings. We also indulged in delicious local cuisine, from fresh seafood to traditional orecchiette pasta, all while enjoying the breathtaking views.

Overall, our trip to Puglia with Untold Italy was a dream come true. We highly recommend their services to anyone looking to explore Italy in a unique and personalized way. Thank you, Niki, Vincenzo, and Katy, for making our family vacation so special!

Where to start? First I will talk about the tour. It was amazing and everything I thought it would be and more. Every detail was meticulously planned out and executed. The experiences were life changing. So much thought was put into the locations, the people and the hearts of these experiences. Each day I thought, it can’t get any better, and yet it did. The accommodations were fabulous. I was impressed with how generous this tour was with the food and wine. This Tuscany tour was incredible!

Now, our tour guide. I booked this tour more than a year in advance and thought Liv would be our guide. I was so excited to meet her because I had been following her on social media for quite some time. A few months before our tour would begin, I found out that our guide would be someone else. I will admit I felt a little disappointed. But then I met Manu. ♥️ The moment I saw her at the train station, I knew it was meant to be. She literally lit up the entire space. She was enthusiastic, energetic, funny, warm, and her love for people was so evident. She has an infectious personality. She went out of her way many times to accommodate all of us. She made us a family. I don’t know where or how you found Manu, but I will tell you this…you discovered a rare treasure. I will cherish our time together for all the days of my life. I know everyone in my group feels the same. We all just love her so much and hope to see her again someday. ♥️
One last thing, we all loved our driver, Sara!♥️

Thanks so much for a fabulous week in Tuscany. Donna and I really enjoyed the week. We’ve visited Tuscany twice before and this was absolutely what we were hoping it would be. The wine makers, the cheese maker, the iris/olive oil farmer, and others were so passionate about what they do. It connected us to Italy. The accommodations were lovely. Old Italy, comforts of home, breathtaking views at every turn, quiet and peaceful. After a few days in Italy on our on, it was so relaxing to turn everything over to Untold Italy. The best part was Olivia and Manuela. What a team. Everything was organized, punctual and very relaxed. Olivia kept us informed, on time (in a calm and graceful manner), Manuela answered all my history questions (at length!!). Bravo for a job well done. Hope we are able to experience other regions of Italy with Untold Italy in the future. This trip was really an experience!

We have been on many trips to Europe and have especially enjoyed travel to Italy. Untold Italy did an amazing job with the trip to Puglia as every detail was professionally handled. Our guide, Olivia, took care of all of us and did far more than would be expected of a tour leader. She asked for feedback often and the tours, food, and accommodations were all first class. My wife and I liked it so much that we booked our next trip with this company before leaving. Anyone who wants an authentic Italian experience needs to take a trip with Untold Italy.
