Knowledgeable. Professional. Diligent. Responsive.
These are the key words describing travel advisor, Sean Andrade. We have just returned from a trip to Spain planned with Sean’s able assistance. It had quite a few moving parts: airfare, train transfers between four cities (Madrid, Granada, Malaga and Cordoba) and hotel accommodations. From our first contact all the way to our return home, Sean was attentive to our needs and patient with all our questions.
Sean is incredibly experienced, and he knows where the travel industry’s hiccups and pitfalls lie (and there are plenty of them!). For example, his standard practice of prepaying hotel accommodations with a 3-day advance cancellation window protects his clients from the common pitfall of hotel overbooking. A prepaid booking minimizes the chance that you’ll be the unlucky guest “walked down the street” to another hotel because, even though you had a “confirmed” reservation, the hotel is full. Apparently, a “credit card guarantee” is not worth much when a hotel overbooks.
When the Spanish rail system, Renfe, unilaterally cancelled the paid booking for our Granada to Malaga train segment two weeks before departure, Sean was on it! He knew what levers to use to reach into an otherwise impenetrable bureaucracy to get us rebooked on an even shorter and more convenient train on the same day.
As someone who both values and expects competency in professionals of all kinds, Sean has my highest recommendation. I look forward to working with him again on future travel adventures.
