Great little shop! SUPER FRIENDLY STAFF! They had given us a ton of information and had great prices on all their cool items. We are planning a return trip to hit the white water rafting with some friends on a private run next season. This place was awesome and the little antique shop was super cool with lots of unique items for sale. I will be adding this place to our MUST STOP list when we go to the amazing UP. See you nest season and we sincerely thank you for your great hospitality.

My husband and I had an AMAZING time rafting! It was our first time, and we got thorough instructions that made us feel comfortable and like pros. Beautiful scenery, hilarious guide, and overall fun was had!

This place is awesome! From the friendly staff, to the cool building and the rapids. I wish I could give it a thousand stars! The way the guides make it fun and safe was over and beyond. Evan is a great G.M. And guide! We had a group of 14 with 3 guides (Evan Riley and Bailey) and each were very professional. I’m glad to have them be apart of my adventure family. Till next time, nose up toes up! 🤙🏼

Captain Logan was the best raft guide I have ever had in my life. I felt incredibly safe being in his presence, yet I also had a blast. His boat knowledge is inspiring, and his happiness and love of rafting is contagious. Logan guided a private trip in the Alberton Gorge, and it is an experience I will never forget.

Wish we could have stayed longer. This place is amazing. The people at True North were so awesome. White water rafting was an absolute blast. Jason and Matt were so much fun and made sure we had a great time. And thanks also to our amazing photographer!
Will definitely be back for the rock climbing... hopefully the weather co-operates next time.

We went for the first time 7/6 and we had a blast it was so exilerating and intense, we were glad we got to go around twice! Evan and Bailey were great tour guides they made us feel very welcome and safe on our trip! Highly recommend!

We scheduled a 6 mile kayak tour on a mellow part of the river for our first ever trip down the Menominee. We had an amazing tour guide named Liz, who was so fun and our driver Leonard was great! We ended up with a little more adventure than planned due to high water but we had an absolute blast! Absolutely recommend True North Outpost for a kayak adventure and will definitely be back! *Liz...don't forget your skirt!!

I had a great time at True North Outpost! They can take anyone from a novice to a white water rafter. I really appreciated Zane's and Katelyn's kindness during my trip. You can tell they really care about their jobs and the people who go on these adventures. I will be back for sure!
