They are crooks! Booked hotel in Florida for funeral 2/14, get there and hotel did not a reservation for us no rooms available! Had to pay $500 for room last minute because my husband and I traveled from NC and we had nowhere to go! Called them back next day and they lied and said we checked in amd refused refund! Called hotel and the confirmed we had no reservation nor did we stay there and hotel manager called them to advise as well! We are still getting the run around and no refund! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I booked 2 nights through Zap Travel but was delayed a day, so needed to change it to only 1 night. I was past the cancelation deadline, so I didn't expect a refund. I called their "VIP" team to have them change the dates so the hotel wouldn't mark us "no show" and cancel our 2nd night. Arrived at the hotel to find that Zap had canceled our entire reservation! Of course no refund because we were past the cancelation date, even though I requested one night's refund since THEY canceled it. Nope. I paid for 3 nights when I only stayed for 1. I'll never book through Zap Travel again. Not worth the money you think you'll save.

Do not book with Zap Travel if you want your vacation to go smoothly. I did not know this but they don’t work directly with the hotels but are a 4th party and if your booking is wrong there’s absolutely nothing you can do…your vacation will be ruined. My holiday was ruined because they reserved the wrong room that was standard king bed room vs a 2 queen suite with a view. The hotel was all booked for the holidays and I had no where to go and I had already paid Zap travel a hefty sum for the rooms…this is a nightmare!!! Beware!!

Michelle Gipsh was amazing from the first time I spoke with her! My fiancé and I were trying to plan a destination wedding and were starting to feel overwhelmed looking at resorts, wedding information and travel details. We spoke to Michelle, and from the very beginning she was great! She got a good feel of where we were looking, and what we were looking for. She had great suggestions when it came to us needing help to narrow down resorts. Not only was she knowledgeable about the resorts, costs, etc, but she also had a great feel of how other guests felt about the wedding coordinator service at each hotel. She was also very receptive to us suggesting locations that were not on the original list, that we were potentially interested in. After contemplating all options, we picked Dreams Tulum. We couldn't have been happier with our decision. We chose this resort because of pictures, and Michelle had said that their wedding department was great, and that it fit what we were looking for. She was spot on! Within less than 12 hours of us determining date and location, Michelle had our wedding website up and running! We sent an initial email to closest friends and family with the link to the website, while we worked on official invites (since it was going to be a small wedding of approx 30 people). The entire time, we had very few to no questions from our guest about booking, travel arrangements or any of that stuff that you don't want to get bogged down with, because Michelle was so great. She made herself accessible via phone, email and text to our guests, and ensured that all went smoothly and that we didn't need to be involved. When we arrived at the airport, we had our personal shuttle waiting for us, which was a huge relief because it gives you a sense of security when traveling to another country (included with the prices through Michelle and booking). Everything was so smooth and seamless. Over the wedding weekend we heard similar sentiments from all of our guest about the ease of booking and how smooth and carefree it all was. The resort was amazing, and just as Michelle had told us, the wedding department was amazing! Looking back, we feel like we won the travel and wedding lottery because we didn't have a care in the world, and got to relax and enjoy the time with our closest family and friends. Now that its all over, our group is keeping in touch and discussing making this a yearly trip, and I will definitely be in touch with her again for our next trips! Highly recommended!!!!

My travel Agent was Candyce Roa and I was delighted with her service. She was able to get my group of ten people six days and 5 nights at the Riu Tequila for mid April. She always responded very quickly to concerns, updates or follow up questions. She was even able to secure the twelve people group rate price for my trip even though we were two people short. She left clear instructions and notes for travel as well as her emergency contact number in case anything came up but it was never necessary because we had no issues getting to or from the resort. Overall I was very pleased with Candyce and Travel Zap and will be recommending them to all my friends and family!

Brandon Smith was such a huge help in planning our sales team's annual trip! Its tough rounding up information for 13+ people, but Brandon was patient and didn't lose his cool, even when we had several last minute cancellations. The resort was amazing and travel was seamless. Thank you, Brandon!

Not even a one star…. book in advance to get to the hotel with zap travels on the phone. Long story short I had to pay $600 extra due to booking the day of with the representative with zap travel hung up the phone on me more than 10 times. Never book with them. That low price will have you paying more at the end.

I drove to the hotel to check-in. I had booked the wrong date by accident. I had clicked button on the wrong month without realizing it. Hotel said they have lots of rooms but the date change would need to be done through zap travel. I did not want a refund, only a date change. I would have paid a fee to change. They said no changes can be made. Don’t use a low rate, unknown company like this. If have any problems, they are worthless.
