Worst Travel Agency ever. Screwed us over on our honeymoon. Very unprofessional. There was a natural disaster so we tried to cancel, instead of canceling they rebooked us to another island & resort that we did not agree too. Because they re-booked it without our consent we lost our travel insurance and couldn't get a refund. I can't express enough how unprofessional they are. DO NOT USE.

Our trip to ireland went smooth for the most part, because we were guided by CIE tours, however I would not recommend booking with Chastity due to the fact she is unreliable and unknowledgeable when it comes to traveling. She held our group back multiple times due to getting lost multiple times. She is not very responsible for herself let alone a group of people. It was very scary having her in charge of all of our payments for the trip and there was confusion a long the way. This is suppose to be a professional role and I did not feel comfortable with her as our “travel agent”. Sending a group of people out with an unknowledgeable “agent” is unprofessional of this business.

Travel House of Quincy states that they sell trips. This is true, but don’t expect help or assistance after the purchase!! Short story, do not use the Travel House!! Long story….we booked a trip for June 2023 with Chastity at the Travel House. We purchased the travel insurance and was told a total credit, minus the price of the insurance, would be given for cancellation of any reason. Our flight was canceled a few hours before leaving due to tropical storm Brett. I called the airline at 2:00 AM to verify. We were not able to get another flight for two days. This would not work due to my husbands vacation scheduling at work. I called the Travel House when they opened. I was told by Chastity that I did not need to do anything further. She would take care of it. I have been fighting to get my credit ever since. For some reason she spent several weeks trying to get a credit not going through the insurance. After several weeks of frustration, I told her this is why we purchased the insurance and to use it. After many hours and frustrating, phone calls/visits to the Travel House, including Meki and Chastity, Apple Vacations, Tripmate, and now the hotel chain, I am still fighting for our full credit. I feel like I had to constantly push Travel House too do the legwork for the credit. While Chastity was out for a few days, I spoke with Mecki, who says she knew nothing about this. As the owner and operator of the business, I find it sad and hard to believe after several months of trying to get this, she had no knowledge of it. She did not want to help me and wanted me to wait until Chastity got back several days later. I did get her to finally submit some paperwork. I found it interesting in our conversation that she stated she is still trying to get $13,000 back for a group that booked a trip in January. If the tours and insurance that they are selling are not for fulfilling their part, why would the Travel House continue to use them? The end of September they basically told me there was nothing else they could do to help me and to contact the attorney. I called and he said he couldn’t help me until he talk to them. I received an email shortly after that stating there is nothing he could do to help me. I should contact Apple and Tripmate. Trip mate tells me Travel House has my money. Travel House tells me they don’t. Airline tells me I have credit with Apple for airfare. Apple tells me my credit is with the airline. Basically, I don’t know who has my money/credit for any of it. This has been the biggest and most frustrating run around/scam!!

So we booked a trip to Israel and the jordan through travel house of quincy. My experience was mostly fine as the team and sabrina were able to get things set up through the tour company. The trip was also fine but here is where things went south and I felt unsupported and unempathized with. Flying back from amman Jordan our flight got delayed and delayed and then canceled. Being in an unfamiliar country no longer with our tour group I felt this was an emergency so I utilized the emergency number I had for Mecki. Now it was about 5 am in the USA and I'm in full blown panic being told my flight was rescheduled for 48 hours later. I was definitely not my most polite when I reached out for help because I myself could not rebook my flights because we had went through the travel house who had gone through the tour company to book our flights. I felt very much blown off by mecki who essentially said she could do nothing and make nothing change. This was obviously no the response I was hoping for. The reason I utilize a travel agency is to help my trip go smoother. Even if there was nothing to be done an empathetic response and possibly a follow up on how we were doing after being stuck in an airport in the middle east would have gone a long way to sooth my overwhelmed emotions but there was nothing but an email link forwarded by the tour company with a customer survey. Due to these factors, I will definitely not be using the travel house again or recommending it to others. In a world where I can easily book most travel myself a travel agent was suppose to in my mind provide support and troubleshooting when things go wrong and travel house was unable to rise to these expectations.
