Lisa Mathews did a FABULOUS job helping plan our "bucket-list" return trip to Europe for a family of 6. She patiently listened to our ever changing requests (over many months) and painstakingly handled ALL details including flights, hotels, transfers, rail, and van rental. Everything went off without a hitch! We can't say enough about her attention to detail and abilities. This is the 2nd trip she helped us plan (the first one was to the Canadian Rocky Mountains). She truly is a TRAVEL EXPERT and we can't thank her enough for making our dream become a reality. Looking forward to the next trip! Thank you Lisa!!

I used Travel Experts of Cary in 2013 to plan my honeymoon to Australia and it was perfect! Since then, they are under new ownership and I had fingers crossed that they would be just as good and they are! Barbara Beam helped to plan an important "Girl's Trip" for me and my friends to the Dominican Republic. We had such a wonderful and memorable time there! It took a long time to plan as we were quite indecisive at first. Barbara was patient and there for us every step of the way to make recommendations. She listened and asked questions to help narrow down exactly what we did (and did not) want. She nailed it! The entire trip (and planning) was seamless with her help. Throughout the planning, we never felt rushed and had all questions answered even up until the week we were leaving. We didn't have to really "think" too much on this holiday. All documents were given to us ahead of time, transportation was booked, and we felt very comfortable that we would be able to reach her during our trip at any point if needed.

I will absolutely book trips with Barbara at Travel Experts of Cary again. Can't wait!

After seven trips and flights booked for myself and some with my family I can say that Travel experts of Cary is the superior travel agent in the Triangle. Now I have moved to the Triad I still rely on the their service. Shelly has been my agent for 16 years and have just book Canada and Northern Italy with her.
She gets the air travel just right for my particular or peculiar needs. She saves me money and makes suggestion that embellish my trips.

Barbara Beam of Travel Experts of Cary is simply the best. My husband and I have relied on her to help us with several adventures, including our wedding, honeymoon, anniversary and a spring vacation.

When we chose France as the destination wedding we wish to have we quickly realized that planning, booking and securing the feat was well beyond our understanding. When we approached Barbara she assured us that she would do everything she could to help us live out this dream. And she did. Every element she planned and set up came without any problems. From the plane flights, travel, car rentals, villas and tours, she was amazing. She planned a three week honeymoon from the coast of France thru the Loire Valley, Champagne wine region and ending in Paris. It could not have gone smoother or easier for us. With each villa we stayed the check in and time there went perfectly. Car rentals were taken care of without a problem, except for one instance when the rental agency messed up. We called Barbra and she had it straightened out immediately and we were back on our way. Everything from start to finish went fabulously thanks to Barbara's efforts.

Given the success we had with Barbara and Travel Experts of Cary we did not hesitate to contact her when we decided on an anniversary adventure. We went to Barbara with ideas and she mapped out everything for us so that we might decide. She even planned out a destination we wished for but didn't believe would have time to get everything in place. Barbara took care of it and we went to St. Martin for a wonderful anniversary week.

When my husband and I wished to travel to historic Charleston SC with friends on a moments noticed, we knew to contact Barbara. She immediately handled everything perfectly. She knew us well enough to find things that we would enjoy. She was absolutely correct.

She's helped us with many 'smaller' things, multiple times, just to keep the issue of getting things in order off our plate so that we might enjoy what we planned.

With her expertise and leverage of the travel industry she's saved us money and has gotten us many extras during our adventures.

We will not consider planning a getaway without Barbara

Normally have good experience with Travel Experts of Cary. The place in Turks and Caicos (West Bay) was wonderful.

I normally find the team to be quite responsive and communicative to support my travel plans with travel prep, guidance, tips, etc.

However, I was a bit disappointed with my travel agent (Barbara) in the lack of responsiveness at times for matters/questions that supported my travel plans despite phone calls and messages.

Travel Experts of Cary is fantastic and I would highly recommend them for your next trip! Paul helped me plan and book a very ambitious trip to Peru this summer and he was so incredibly helpful every step of the way. He was able to make sense of my very disorganized notes and itinerary, book all of my hotels and plane tickets, and navigate Peruvian tour sites in the time frames I needed. It was the best feeling to arrive in Peru knowing everything was already booked and taken care of, and I didn't have to worry about anything because of all that Paul had done for me. From always making time in his day for me to meet with him to making sure I had his personal cell number in case I needed anything on the trip, working with Paul was honestly such a great experience. I tell people all the time now how much easier life is with a travel agent, and always refer them to Paul. I look forward to working with Paul and Travel Experts team again in the future!

Shelly did a fantastic job planning a very complicated vacation to Costa Rica. We had an extra person with us for just a few days, moved to several different locations and even flew out of a different airport. Shelly paid attention to every single little detail and our vacation and turned out perfect. I cannot thank her enough for all the hard work she put into planning our vacation! I will definitely be using Shelly for all our future travel plans.
