We had Great charter today. We actually run our own charter but had too many for our permit. Capt Miles was gracious enough to let us book and tag along. I own another business and a bunch of other Doctors came for training. We had a great time, caught some fish.

I must say, owning and operating a charter and have been on many charters myself. The deckhands are up there with the best as far as skill and enthusiasm.

Our Captain couldn’t have been a more gracious guy. Several of our other doctors couldn’t make it due to flights and the recent hurricane. Not only did Captain Miles not cancel, he called me personally and told me how excited he was to fish.

If I could give 10 stars I would!

Oh, and the price? He should have charged more for the fun we had!!!

I visited my son here and only had a few days. The weather was really bad but Captain James was still willing to battle heavy rain that persisted all day. It was late in the season, November 11th and we did excellent. Captain James worked hard all day to make sure we caught a bunch of fish… 21 total.

We had to pleasure of fishing with Captain James while on vacation ! He was very knowledgeable, patient and kind ! We went out on a 3 hour trip and caught fish the entire time we had our lines in the water . Captain James took time on our way back to dock to see dolphins up clean ! He cleaned our fish and sent us home with lots of great memories ! I highly recommend Captain James with Tradition Fishing Charters. We will be looking him up when we return .

Captain Miles and Deckhand Mega Matt not only provide a top notch “catching” experience, but they also provide you with free entertainment - with the best stories, one liners, and dancing included. This pair is a rare find who is truly passionate about fishing on the Gulf Coast. I recommend - depending on your party - booking a trip on one of the offshore boats - that way if you have children or women there is a full bathroom and a cabin for extra comfort. You catch more variety on one of the offshore boats.
