I recently returned from my 4th Adventure Trip with TJ- 3 weeks in Africa which included Mt Kilimanjaro trek, Safari and a trip to Zanzibar
It was fabulous- All trips with TJ are focused on taking on new adventures while utilizing local support agencies in each location - this provides a more meaningful trip for me. TJ’s trips also “give back”. We brought school supplies from home and purchased food at the local markets for the two orphanages we were fortunate enough to visit.
I can’t say enough about TJ’s adventures - I have conquered many fears- with her help
Waterfall repelling in Costa Rica- climbng one of the top ten rated dangerous climbs at Huayna Picchu in Peru, petting a lion in Tanzania! I have been challenged on each adventure and always feel safe with TJ
Also... met some wonderful people along the way.
Lastly.....TJ’s pricing is very reasonable
As last by as I can.... I will continue to book my trips with TJ!

Inca Trail & Machu Pichu hikes were magical w/TJ & Hubert (local Incan guide).

I love using TJ for hikes, because her trips are crafted specifically for “all fitness levels”. So I don’t have to be concerned that I’ll be hiking w/Olympic athletes. We go at a very doable (but robust) pace & take needed breaks.

TJ takes care of everything from prep lists to itinerary to hiking tips to acquiring proper Inca permits to hotel booking to “Covid Test” planning (so we were good to fly back to the US). And our funds support local Incan families.

Hubert’s team of “Chaskys” on the Inca Trail set-up & took down all tents, chef “Super Mario” prepared 3 hot meals per day (3 full courses!), snacks, boiled water for us, and even brought coffee/tea to each of our tents in the mornings.

This is the trip of a lifetime, so it was amazing to have TJ take all the “thinking/planning” off my plate so I could just enjoy the view & the journey!

I highly recommend TJay Hiker for any upcoming tours.

I have hiked Machu Picchu, the Dolomites in Italy, the Grand Escalante Staircase area in Utah, and trails all around Bend, Oregon with TJ Hiker. Each trip was stellar. She uses the best guides, books the stays at wonderful hotels, arranges transportation and other non-hiking activities, and somehow everything works out, even with the challenges of weather and unforeseen events. If you want a worry-free, fabulous time, I highly recommend this company. You won’t find a kinder, more amiable leader anywhere else.

I recently went to walk the Inca trail Machu Picchu with TJ Hiker. I can't say enough! The entire experience was LIFE CHANGING! The type of people TJ attracts to her treks, I couldn't have been with a better group of people. And her guides were incredible! The food was incredible! The itinerary was perfect, I feel like I got to experience exactly what I wanted to. And most of all, you can really feel TJ's love, care, and concern for you while you are on her watch. I can't say enough about my travel experiences with TJ... third trip is in the books! Costa Rica, Oregon, and most recently, the Inca trail to Machu Picchu! Her worldwide travel and adventure experience is second to none and comes through in all phases of the journey. From pre-trip to getting home, she was always there for me. These kinds of trips can often present uncontrollable challenges such as weather, flight issues, cultural and language barriers, and sometimes illness or injury... But she remains calm and provides a level of support and comfort that turns what some might see as a "major issue" to just a hiccup. I'll be doing another trip with her in July 2020 and I know it will be both amazing and rewarding!!
