Loved our stay! The campground is well policed and maintained. The tent is adorable. Very well air conditioned. The beds are clean and very comfy with plenty of pillows. Mike took great care of us!

Was absolutely the best way to camp, hands down. Easy to book, host was friendly and on top of any questions we had, facilities were very clean and so nicely decorated and it made our birthday weekend enjoyable! Can't wait to go again and try another location or come back to this one in the summer. Fishing was good, bike riding was nice, lots to do and had a great atmosphere at the park.

This was our first time glamping, and it didn’t not disappoint! We were just off of the water! Lisa and Mike thought of everything and made sure we were well taken care of. We were arriving after check in hours, and the host had already had the heat on in preparation for us. The hammocks were a surprise addition that made lounging around camp even better. 100% if we are in the area again we will book these tents again.

Top of the line. The linens were crisp! the mattresses are top shelf. An extremely exceptional experience. Our tent was ready when I pulled up. This is a top of the line glamping experience and I would recommend to anyone. We had the deluxe safari with two sets of bunk beds. Our kids were over the moon.

We came down to the park to celebrate my birthday and do a little fishing on Lake Martin. Mike and Lisa were amazing hosts. Lisa made sure our Glamping goodie basket was out waiting for us when we arrived and had the tent decorated for my birthday to give it that extra special touch. Mike made sure our boat slip was ready and waiting for us. We could easily see the boat from our tent site and it was only a short walk to the pier. The tent was cozy and inviting. And the views of Lake Martin were stunning and serene. We will definitely be back!

Great location on Lake Martin! This was our first visit here and everything was just as advertised, clean tent and bathhouse! Mike and Lisa stopped by to welcome us and checked on us each day. Lots of activities to choose from!

Wonderful Experience for Campers of Any Age and/or Experience

I'm not a camper - I've never slept in a tent or under the stars, but on my first-ever trip to Alabama I decided to take the plunge and try something new. Timberline Glamping at Lake Martin was the perfect opportunity to blend my preferred world of hotel comfort with my husband's preferred love of the great outdoors.

We booked a standard double tent for ourselves and our two service dogs and drove 755 miles to Lake Martin, Alabama. The tent was nicer than some hotel rooms! We had air conditioning, a refrigerator, Wi-Fi Internet and extremely comfortable beds. We also had a grill, fire pit, picnic table, and hammocks. It was our own private world overlooking the Wind Creek State Park marina. We spent four nights living the best of both worlds.

Perhaps the reason Timberline at Lake Martin provides such an exceptional experience is because Mike & Lisa are there to make each stay memorable. Mike greeted us when we first checked in and stopped by daily to check on us. By the time we left, I felt he and Lisa were like long-time friends. They go out of the way to enhance every camper's stay.

I don't know if or when we'll return to Alabama, but if we do, we will return to Lake Martin and the wonderful Timberline Glamping experience.

Timberline Glamping at Lake Martin was indeed a delightful retreat, largely thanks to the gracious hospitality of hosts Mike and Lisa. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcomed and comfortable. With 2 adults, 4 children, and a large dog, there was plenty of space for our family to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The accommodations struck a perfect balance between luxury and nature, offering a serene escape by the lake. The attention to detail in the design of the glamping tent and amenities ensured a cozy and hassle-free stay. The picturesque setting of Lake Martin provided a beautiful backdrop for relaxation and outdoor activities. Throughout our stay, Mike and Lisa provided attentive service, making sure our needs were met without being overbearing. We eagerly anticipate returning to Timberline Glamping for another peaceful getaway.
