This is a very special bed and breakfast. Julie and Tony are excellent innkeepers who ensured that we had a wonderful time in this beautiful corner of Connecticut. We stayed in the Heron suite which had fantastic views of the water and the Thimble Islands. We also enjoyed the breakfasts and the opportunity to chat with our hosts whose recommendations for local sightseeing were much appreciated.

This was by far the best B+B we have ever stayed at. It actually did not feel like staying in a B+B, but rather, in Julie and Tony's house (which it is) as their personal guests. The house is modern, updated and very well maintained. It is also very tastefully decorated and furnished. Outdoors is also expertly maintained. Julie and Tony were extremely gracious hosts, and the location is simply amazing with the beautiful views of The Thimble Islands right outside. We hope to get back soon.

This gem of a house sits on the most spectacular settings—right on the water. One of the most beautiful views we’ve ever seen. The owners are lovely and friendly and super accommodating. Breakfast is a treat—a mushroom gorgonzola omelette or crème brûlée french toast. It is well worth the trip.

Our stay was over the top! Julie and Tony are so friendly and helpful. Accommodations superb, with breathtaking views. Delicious breakfasts. Charming town. They even made dinner reservations for us at a fabulous Italian restaurant. We were sad to say goodbye. Needless to say, we highly recommend it!

The only thing I might add to the many reviews this exceptional B&B has garnered is that all of the compliments are true! The property is lovely, well-maintained and beautifully furnished. The views from almost every window are terrific. Our room (Egret) was comfortable and graciously appointed. The made-to-order breakfasts were delicious and abundant. In fact, we could have lingered for far longer than we did over the morning coffee, fresh fruit, creative entrees (e.g. Tony's special omelet with caramelized onions, shiitake mushrooms and gorgonzola) and delightful company of our hosts and fellow guests. Best of all, Julie and Tony are as warm, hospitable and helpful as two innkeepers could be. They are the kind of people you can easily imagine being your dear and long-time friends. All in all, a wonderful experience in a very special place!

The hosts are charming and very helpful. The views are spectacular, and it is very quiet. The breakfasts are delicious. Stoney Creek is charming and the inn is just a five minute walk to the village. We definitely plan to come back. Highly recommended.

My wife and I did two nights recently and we were so pleased with every aspect of our stay. From the magnificent views of Branford Harbor to Tony's famous shitake omelet and fresh fruits, and some of the most gracious hosts I've had the pleasure to know, our experience was truly beyond all expectations. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. We loved it! The room was clean and spacious (we stayed in the Heron Suite). It is in a great location. We walked to shops and did the Thimble Island Tours. There is a nice trail we walked each morning that was beautiful and peaceful. Julie and Tony were great! Breakfast was made to order and delicious! Complimentary wine in the evenings was amazing! We highly recommend!!
