The Scuba Ranch is a great place to explore and train for area scuba divers. The owners go out of there way to support the local scuba community, dive organizations and shops. There is a training pool for instructors to rent for training, air fills, & gear rental. Camping is available onsite and well as RV spaces, shower spaces and spartan cabins made from recycled airplane fuselages, which makes for a unique experience.

The owners maintain the property well and continue to add to the parks underwater items of interest that divers can explore. We are thankful for this resource for local dive communities. Go explore! You will have a great time! ~ Sea Shanty Scuba ~

Came here to do my final check out for my open water license. Good facilities. Interesting stuff underwater to check out and guide ropes to help you find most of the things with instructions to learn navigation skills to others. Great place to learn and practice diving.

Alot of fun every time we go. Reasonable prices for access and rental equipment. Staff is great. Several underwater points of interest. If needed, several platforms to work from. Visibility was 5-10 ft at our last visit. Temp at 20 ft was 86 degrees. Thermocline was at 52 ft at the deep silos. If classes are held for training, the lake is big enough for several classes at the same time and not be in each other's way. Definitely a good scuba diving spot.

Came here for open water certification. It's calm and quiet. The first weekend in May the surface water temp was 74ish and visibility about 15 feet. The dogs that wander stay with the owners and are friendly. The restroom is clean with 2 outdoor showers and 1 indoor shower. $20 for divers and $10 for spectators EACH day. CASH ONLY.

Although the water level was low the 2 days I was there, and visibility was only a foot or two…
It was a cool experience to dive here in the metroplex.

I went to Scuba Ranch to complete my 2 open water dives for my certification.

The weather was right around 80s and the water was cool. It made the experience even better.

I’d love to go back when the visibility is better and see more of the structures under the water!
