I just returned home from an incredible week away at Oliver Lodge. We stayed on this beautiful property with 6 other families that we are friends with and had the most incredible time! The views are amazing, the owner and property manager were wonderful to work with, and we had so much fun! it was the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Highly recommend!

We had an idyllic lake experience staying in the South Wing. Loved the waterfront views in both directions, deck and being able to wade right into the lake. Boat house with tables and lounge chairs +deck, and water toys (paddle board, canoe) for use a bonus. Easy parking and grocery store nearby. Exceptional host made it easy and fun.

We had an amazing king weekend at Oliver Lodge, we stayed in the North Wing. It's a beautiful place for a quiet winter getaway. We saw blad eagles flying across the river and diving for food, we saw a flock of common merganser out on the water, we saw a mink hanging by the shoreline and found its tacks all over the property. We didn't see otters, but the manager let us know they are out there, so hopefully next time.
We did get hit with a snow stor, and were fortunate no one else was checking in, so they were able to accommodate us for an extra night to wait out the storm. They made sure we had lanterns if we lost power and made sure we knew how to flush the toilets in an outage. Denise was amazing at making sure we had everything we needed, and if we had any problems, she was ready and willing to help as quickly as possible. She was also full of information about what was nearby for shopping or things to do.
It was really just a great time, and I honestly hope to go back soon.

I have twice rented this property for getaways for my coworkers. Once in Sept 2011 and again in December 2015. I opted to rent the entire property both times so that people could spread out and it was well worth it. I have seen the comments about spider webs etc but to be honest it added to the charm. I did not see it as unclean just an old cabin feel. We had 20-25 people meeting in the Main Lodge for meetings, to celebrate Christmas and we even all cooked meals together in the giant commercial kitchen. I was able to hold a welcome reception on top of the boat house in September that was the perfect spot. The views are incredible. The houses have charm and warmth. Every time I think about going on vacation I consider this place. I am not sure what it would be like renting with others on the property but it may also add to it. The house on the lake that you have to take a canoe or paddle boat to is very cool. My only issue was that the fireplace in the Main Lodge gave off so much soot that everyone there took a couple days to get it out of their systems. Especially those sleeping above it like me. I believe ownership has also changed so Ill also say this. There were a couple of guys that were the groundskeepers who would freely walk in to the Main Lodge when we were there which was a little unsettling however these same guys were on any issues we had immediately. Its expensive but in my opinion you get what you pay for.

I recently was married at Oliver Lodge and it was truly the most magical and perfect location for my wedding. Leslie and Denise were great to work with and helped to make it a stress free weekend. Denise ensured our guests had everything they needed and was so gracious and helpful. I could not have been happier with Oliver Lodge and I know all of our guests loved the venue and had an amazing time!

We stayed for 2 nights in a 2 bedroomed apartment which had a lovely lounge seating area. Let's start with a few comments. The apartment itself was amazing. I have to admit it wasn't 5 star hotel style accommodation....some of the finishes were worn or dated, there were no real cooking facilities (just a microwave) and not enough plates / cutlery etc to do our own catering BUT, and it's a huge but, the setting, the peacefulness, the location, the tranquility, the activities and most of all Denise absolutely made this the best place I've stayed.....EVER!||Denise met us on arrival, and gave us a tour of all the accommodations including the history of the property before showing us our accommodation. Rustic, but beautiful. A 10 minute drive to picturesque Meredith with ample shops and restaurants. Denise was so enthusiastic and a real credit, we loved her (and her dog). The weather for October was stunning and the fall colours amazing. Sited right on the lake shore, there are canoes, pedalos, etc for guest use. Denise offered to set up fire pits and BBQ facilities if required. Everything we needed and nothing was too much trouble.||I we had 1 suggestion it would be to put a mini kitchen along the back wall of the apartment, think there would be plenty room for a small worktop, cooker and provision of crockery and cutlery to encourage eating in, as we just loved being out there.||In summary, we would go back in a flash. It was the best accommodation of our holiday, the setting perfect, Denise fab and we even had the best weather. Next time, we want to try the A-Frame........I don't think life could get better.||THANK YOU for an amazing few days. ||John, Paul, Margaret and Lynda.|X

We have been to Oliver Lodge a few times and each time we leave loving it more. You have to know that it is not the Four Seasons but it has so much more to offer. The views are incredible from every angle. The memories that my family have made at Oliver Lodge are some of our most treasured. I tell everyone about this little piece of heaven. I almost forgot to mention that the area itself offers many fun things to do and the restaurants are top notch.

Spent two nights in the A-Frame at Oliver Lodge just as the summer season wrapped. It was quiet, peaceful, beautiful. As others have noted, the cabin could use some TLC but as long as you're expecting more "cabin camping" than "hotel" you won't even notice. Pro tip: get up as the sun is rising and enjoy your warm beverage of choice on the front deck watching the fog rise from the lake.
