My wife and I made the decision to relocate from Long Island, NY to Delaware in late 2023. A lot of factors contributed to this decision; being priced out of the NY housing market and becoming new parents were primary amongst them. Thru online research, my wife came across The Oldfather Group and from there we were introduced to realtor Jodie Green. Jodie was nothing short of a pleasure to work with. Jodie maintained contact with us on a near daily basis, taking the time out to show us properties via video conferencing due to distance and our hectic work schedules. She was also great on scheduling in-person tours for properties we were especially interested in and considered "must-see". As a first time home buyer, she exhibited much patience and really invested time into explaining the purchasing process in very fine detail. We bombarded Jodie with questions daily, texting her day and night. She always responded promptly and if she didn't have an answer for us she researched and got back to us promptly. Jodie also provided us with a few vendor referrals, advocating on our behalf if we were not satisfied with services rendered. We're approximately a month removed from closing and Jodie remains in contact with us, lending advice when needed. Jodie is consistently professional, courteous, generous with her time and kind. We've grown so close to her that we consider her a friend. We could not have asked for a better agent and have already referred her to a very close family member who is contemplating making the jump to this area.
