We stayed there last week on a Sunday and Monday night. The Lodge is welcoming. Driving up and walking in felt like arriving at a friend or family member's house. The common area and the rooms were immaculately clean and well taken care of. Our room was cool and comfortable (it was 90 and sunny outside). Everything worked. No issues. The seating areas around the property were great for coffee in the morning and stargazing at night. Would stay again. Highly recommend.

Hands down best place to stay in Westcliffe! Clean and provided everything we needed. Great for family and close to town. Beautiful view of the mountains. Easy to find and quiet. The other place offers the view and amenities. Made sure we had everything we needed

Spotlessly clean, quiet and comfortable.|Thoughtfully appointed with great attention to detail.|Tastefully decorated, with a comfortable gathering area in the great room.|Plenty of outdoor sitting areas for guests.||We stayed in the passiflora suite, with a comfortable king bed and a lovely room A/C.|We were blessed with unobstructed views of the Towering (13,000-14,000 foot tall) Wet Mountain Range. As our hike up to Crestone Peak started at 0500 AM, it was very nice to have a microwave and Keurig Coffee machine available for our early AM adventure. Our room faced out to highway 69, but with the fan on we did not pick up road noise.||The perfect stay for our trips into the local mountains. We will be revisiting next Summer!

Booked a room on a whim with ease! Although I didn't book online and it was a bit early in the afternoon to check in, the kind lady on the phone got me a room right on the spot! Very clean and comfortable room named the Larkspur. The bed was very comfortable and the view of the Sangre DC's was absolutely beautiful.
Close proximity to Westcliffe.

I stayed during the weekdays before Christmas, 2023. My room was spacious, clean, and everything was setup very well. I had access to the main lobby, and since I was the only one staying there, I had great access to the refrigerator (for leftovers), freezer (ice chest) and the coffee makers for early morning departures. It was a very pleasant stay, and the deer outside the lodge were friendly to me, but tough on the trees. (I tried to download the photos or videos, but it didn't work).

Really enjoyed our one night at The Lamp Post Lodge. We stayed in the second floor San Isabel Suite which was comfortable, quite spacious and had a perfect view of the mountains to the West. The entire lodge was super clean and very quiet. We'd definitely stay here again when in the Westcliffe area.

Clean and comfortable lodge. Did not feel old or stuffy like some other small town inns. Mountain View’s are amazing and the location is close to town. No road noise. Shared kitchen/refrigerator is handy. Would definitely stay here again!
