WARNING: Look at the last 4-5 reviews. This is the most unprofessional hospitality establishment I've EVER delt with.

Updated on 7-15-24. Please see their artificial response to me about making things right below. I sent them the information they requested to the email they provided last week and they failed to reply AGAIN! No surprises here. Save yourself the nightmare and stay elsewhere if you’re visiting the area.

I gave it 1 star because negative 5 wasn't an option. I booked a room online and attempted to contact them to confirm a few things. Well, the first phone number they listed was out of order. The next phone number I found the voicemail was full. So, after four times trying to reach them by phone and email, I canceled my room within the policy time limits in writing to both emails I could find. It's been over a month, and I still have not heard back from them. They still charged my card, and it has been disputed by my bank. I don't know how the owner of this place let's this happen. Extremely sad and very poorly run business.

Front desk never gave us keys for our room which was ridiculous said they lost keys or something kept promising the would get us keys but never did and staff was rude we asked them for towels and was brushed off we had to get own towels from front office groundskeeper told me to keep my dog off his new grass when I thought this was a dog friendly place. Won't be staying here again, needless to say

We stayed here 3 nights. The room are clean. The pool is great. I enjoyed every single thing that the lodge offered. This is our second visit to the site. I loved it.

I do NOT recommend staying here. We booked a family room for Memorial Day weekend more than a month ago directly via their website, at that time paying the deposit. When we arrived on Friday we were told that the room was double booked and no longer available. Non other room was available. They credited our deposit, but good luck finding something else on Memorial Day weekend. We were lucky that the whispering lodge (which ended up to be a really great place!) up the street still hd vacancy, but of course it was double the price.

The property manager claimed that she had called me the day to inform me, but I did not have any calls and also no emails from them.

I travel a lot and this has never happened to me. It is purely unprofessional. In particular, since we booked directly through their website and even made the deposit.

If this is how you treat your guests and define service, I highly recommend staying away from this place.

My wife and I tried to check in for our reservation at 3pm on 6/22. There was a gentleman there who said he had to wait for his mother to come back to check us in and she should be back in "10 mins". After about 45 minutes, this gentleman left to "find his mother" and after an hour had passed and neither person had come back, we left the property without checking in.||We couldn't wait outside in 100 degree plus heat any longer.||Now there's no answer via email or phone and neither us nor Hotels.com can get ahold of the hotel to request a refund.

Bedbugs!! This hotel had bed bugs in our room. Confirmed from environmental health dept! Do not stay here!!! Not the only room a few other people stayed at hotel with similar conditions. Definitely unprofessional about handling it.

Michelle helped me with making a reservation by phone. The rate was reasonable as family gathered for my mother’s celebration of life. Upon my arrival I checked in and paid for the suite. Right away we noticed the kitchen plumbing leaked. Also we noticed the TV was not working- Michelle and her assistant came to help. A new cable box was added which fixed that. However, the plumbing was tightened/patched and continued to drip into a container. A plumber was to be called, we were told, but never appeared. The kitchen smelled badly of mildew/mold. My daughter prepared food for the next day’s event in the kitchen… I was embarrassed that she had to deal with this inconvenience. I was assured by Michelle (manager) and Debbie (assistant) that I would receive a credit. I was never given a credit! From this point on (including checking out) I could not reach Michelle (or Michael-indicated on a note on the door) or the lodge number on the website. The morning I was to leave- office door was open but again I could not reach anyone to discuss the promised credit. The carpet needs to be replaced badly… otherwise the plumbing and bedding issues need to be addressed. Other guests experienced trouble reaching the management as well during our stay. My daughters observed this. The best thing about staying there- proximity to the pizza barn and coffee place and diner.
