I went in this tour with 2 girlfriends. We are interested in this type of activity and Ying did not disappoint. First off, Ying is very friendly and approachable and made all of the attendees feel welcome and part of this temporary community. Secondly, she really knows her stuff. She took us on a tour throughout the Berkeley campus and surrounding area and shared stories about things that have happened, gave us time to explore, asked questions, got us involved and gave us a great experience. She also shared some of her own experiences both from the area and from things that have happened from her TV show. I recommend this 100%.

I went on the Haunted Ghost Tour SF on 9/29 with my partner and best friend, let me just say we had an absolute BLAST. Ying was very informative and knowledgeable about all aspects of the areas we visited on our tour. We learned so much history and the added spooky factor of these areas being haunted was definitely a plus. Highly recommend checking this tour out and very excited to check out the Berkeley Haunted Tour. Very much worth the time, money, and all the hard work put into this tour to make it fun and interactive. Ying was so nice and showed us more than we could ever expect and the effort put into this tour was very visible! 10/10 would haunt again!

A few years ago we did the SF Ghost Tour with Ying and it was hours of fascination. We learned about the ships underneath the City surface, as well as the hills, buildings, and alleys that had paranormal activity and major history. June Ahern, the psychic, was on the tour and helped us discern between the spirit of PG&E vs. much more.

On the Berkeley Haunted Hike, Ying takes us all over the Berkeley campus to spots that are active as all get-out with students sharing in the stories. I got some interesting audio findings along the way and am excited to learn more about the recent developments at one of the locations. Ying has a knack for finding the right balance between history and mystery.

Last Friday night, I found myself enveloped in Berkeley's ghostly allure with The Haunted Bay Ghost Tours. Current students shared their own eerie experiences, confirming the tales spun by Ying. They spoke of a spirit with an unsettling affinity for targeting angry young men, a revelation that sent shivers down my spine.

The former institution for the deaf and blind exuded an air of haunting stillness, while an enigmatic 19th century house held its own cache of chilling mysteries. Amidst these spectral tales, the story of the Ohlone Tribe's Native Americans and their unresting souls added a layer of profound eeriness.

Though I was spared any direct encounters with the supernatural, the vivid tales and firsthand testimonials made the experience hauntingly memorable. If the mysterious, the eerie, and the spine-chilling beckon you, Ying’s tour is an unforgettable journey into the night. Step in, if you dare, but be prepared for stories that will haunt your dreams long after the tour concludes.

Ying is an excellent guide. She makes sure you feel safe and comfortable at all times. The stories and locations are quite creepy. Some locations were so creepy we opted out! I highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun and interesting evening activity in Berkeley. Definitely bring comfortable shoes.

I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a spine-tingling adventure with The Haunted Bay, guided by the fantastic Ying Liu. Over the course of two evenings, we explored the historical depths of the Berkeley Campus and the mysterious alleys of San Francisco Chinatown. My experience with Ying was nothing short of extraordinary, and here's why:

Wonderful tour. I enjoy it a lot.

Ying did a lot of research on SF history, and I felt something unusual in all the places she took me. I used an app that could detect ghosts. The app detected a ghost dancing in front of one of the buildings, and Ying told me it was a nightclub long ago.

I don't have any health issues, but at the last stop, it was just me and Ying inside the building. I felt like my heart was getting squeezed, but it quickly disappeared. I also heard a woman's voice, but I couldn't listen to what she said. It was close to me, so it was not from outside the building. Where we were, we couldn't hear anything from outside.

It is a great tour to learn about SF history, listen to ghost stories, and feel those spirits.
