A perfect setting for special occasions!

I've had the pleasure of hosting two wonderful events at The Gardens at Uncanoonuc Mountain, a bridal shower and a team celebration. Both were flawless thanks to the venue's incredible beauty and thoughtful planning.

The gardens are breathtaking. The meticulous care and evident pride in the property are truly inspiring. Every detail, from the elegant furnishings to the impeccably maintained grounds, is thoughtfully considered. I was even pleasantly surprised by the stylish and well-maintained bathrooms!

Hosting the bridal shower in the cottage was a unique and memorable experience. Guests raved about the charming atmosphere, and the vintage furniture added a touch of elegance that made for some fantastic photos.

I highly recommend The Gardens at Uncanoonuc Mountain to anyone seeking a truly special event space. I wish I had another reason to celebrate there soon!

Tom and the rest of the Gardens staff and team were INCREDIBLE to work with from start to finish. Any questions or concerns we had, they answered quickly and efficiently and made us feel at ease. I literally walked around the venue all night in awe of how amazing they made everything look. They take your dream and Pinterest inspiration and bring it to life. We just got married last week and we can’t stop looking through pictures and videos of the big day. Hands down best experience and would 1000% recommend to anyone 🤍

My husband and I eloped back in 2023 right before he left for bootcamp. We never got the chance to celebrate our elopement with friends and family until a year later. My husband was scheduled to come home for two weeks before our PCS across the country, and we were on a tight schedule. Words cannot describe the amount of gratitude we have toward the team at The Gardens at Uncanoonuc! They were able to help us schedule an elopement celebration with all our loved ones on such short notice. Not only were they flexible with a sort of last minute date change, they pulled all my ideas together and made the evening such a beautiful memory we'll cherish forever. We had our celebration on July 19th, and it was a perfect summer evening. The Gardens are breathtaking and our guests were blown away by how perfect the venue was!

We had our wedding here a little less than a year ago and while it was a perfect day for us and our coordinator Ashley was absolutely amazing, there were some things about the venue we had trouble with. First is the venue is beautiful and everything we hoped for, but did come at quite a cost. On top of this, their system got hacked and we were scammed out of our last payment. While we were verbally told to not worry about the payment right away, the next few days we received a few emails saying our payment was overdue and needed, causing us to quickly try to find more money to pay this, regardless of their reassurances. We never received any discount or retribution for this mistake with their system, causing us to have to pay double our last payment. Second, when trying to plan the day before and day after the wedding, we were told we could only have the rehearsal in the morning due to another event there later that day and we couldn’t set anything up, but the story changed that day and suddenly there was no other event, causing us to have our rehearsal dinner turn into a lunch due to this lie. The day after the wedding we were told the same story, needing our stuff to be removed early in the morning due to other events needing to be set up, but come that day, there wasn’t another soul on the property to correlate their story. Lastly, just small annoyances, the staff continued to burst into the cottage without knocks or any announcements on the day of, causing me to be seen in my undergarments only when trying to put on my wedding dress multiple times, eventually causing my mother to ask for knocks, but I don’t think the request should have had to be made. I understand their supply closet was in the cottage, but this is something future brides should be aware of if they have any reservation about being seen undressed. Overall did we have the wedding of our dreams? Yes, their staff member Ashley made sure of it. Was the venue worth the cost and headache? We’re not sure.

The Gardens at Uncanoonuc Mountain is an absolutely magical place! The grounds are breathtaking and you can tell that a lot of care goes into keeping the space beautiful and inviting. My husband and I had a micro-wedding with 30 guests at the beginning of October, and it was perfect for us because it was small and intimate but we were able to have all of the elements of a traditional wedding (ceremony, cake, first dance, etc). The team was very helpful when it came to planning and was readily available to answer all of our questions and make the whole process easier. The various spots throughout the venue made it the perfect space to spend time with our loved ones, and we were really lucky to have perfect weather! A lot of our guests said that it was the most beautiful wedding they had been to! I seriously cannot emphasize enough how beautiful this place is - my husband and I would go for walks here every day if we were able to! If you are looking to have an intimate wedding in a peaceful and gorgeous place that feels like a fairy tale, I highly recommend choosing the Gardens!!

Back in October 2023 my wife and I decided to tie the knot at The Gardens. By far best decision. Beautiful scenery, even for the fall, and wonderful staff to work with. We chose to get married in the woods setting with the beautiful leaves spread out everywhere (they even had bug repellent boxes hidden to repel mosquitos!). My wife was primarily looking for an outstanding venue with lots of flowers and places to take pictures so we could share memories with our loved ones later on and all I can say is we both agree we loved our choice of choosing this place to say "I Do". They really do take pride in their gardens!
