Such a beautiful getaway spot! We stayed at the carriage house. The room was so beautiful, the complimentary breakfast was amazing, and the staff is so accommodating. We loved our meal at the Wisconsin Room and my matcha at the beautiful Greenhouse cafe. My prenatal massage was also exceptional and so rejuvenating!!

Fabulous place... warning... do not eat at the Immigrant Restaurant with that huge price tag (e.g. $165./pp + $75 for wine pairings - five course meal). It does not meet the level of a James Beard or Michelin restaurant to warrant such a price tag.

The facilities are beautiful and comforting. The staff in the hotel and spa area are amazing and accommodating. The spa itself has wonderful services and areas to explore. My favorite was the plunge within the steam room.

Had an incredible weekend at The American Club! This resort exceeded all expectations – cozy, luxurious, and full of activities. It’s about a 5-hour drive from the Twin Cities, but totally worth it. The resort has everything you need, from shuttles to fitness centers, an amazing spa, restaurants, and boutique shops. We loved the couple’s massage and the beautiful, relaxing spa. The coffee at The Greenhouse was delicious, and the “Frozen Fairways” event with ice skating, curling, and fat-tire biking was so much fun. The staff was friendly, the rooms were spotless, and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing yet adventurous getaway – 10/10 experience!

Wonderful winter getaway! Everyone went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Enjoyed the history tour from the concierge, deep soaking tub in our room and relaxing day at the spa. Breakfast in the Wisconsin Room featured French pastries made on site and Sarah made delicious suggestions for our entrees. Dinner at Blackwolf lodge was very cozy, the pork chops were really good. Ended our stay with a stop at Frozen Fairways which was really beautiful, even tried our hand at curling! We were able to go midweek and take advantage of a number of specials. Highly recommend!

Best place to stay. The staff is wonderful, the resort is great - most comfortable bed. We were here for the Rifle Shooting, Fly Fishing event. We had a great time and were treated like royalty.

We truly loved our stay at the Carriage House at the American Club. There is so much character and charm. We loved the service and all of the extra touches that really put it over the top. We enjoyed breakfast in the Wisconsin room, a drink and scrabble in the library, and our cozy room (with the fantastic tub and shower of course! And fantastic comfortable beds. Wonderful housekeeping!). We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay here. Great bathroom, as expected at Kohler. There was a big bath, big shower, and three sinks. No bidet though. The TV jutted outward instead of being attached flatly to the wall which was awkward for getting into the bed; easy to hit your head. But they did have a motion activated light under the nightstand which I thought was a great safety feature. Great staff. They left chocolates and wine in the room for my friends bday, which was a nice touch.

Great stay at the American Club! Lived up to the expectations. We're staying in MKE for a couple weeks and heading to American club for the weekend. It was suburb. The staff was incredible. We received a room upgrade from the AMEX FHR perk along with a bottle of win. We also loved the chocolate turtles. Having an in-demand shuttle was also great. We enjoyed the Kohler Design Center and tour. Loved this weekend. Only point of improvement: we didn't really care for the pub in the hotel. The breakfast and everything else was great.
