Great sunset cruise! Got to see lots of cool houses and boats on the slow cruise to Lake Michigan. The captain positioned us perfectly to enjoy a beautiful sunset. Skip the big paddlewheel boat cruise and go with The Flying Dutchman on this smaller and more intimate cruise ( i think its 22 people max). And don’t forget to say hi to Ted the dog - the official mascot of the cruise!

Our group of five had Nick and Ted all to ourselves for the sunset cruise. We enjoyed every minute of it. Nick is really friendly and knowledgeable and he shared a lot of information about the area. He also pointed out the swans, eagles, deer and other wildlife along the way. Ted was a sweetheart and enjoyed our attention and pets. I wholeheartedly recommend TFD Adventures.
Oh, and the sunset was spectacular!

We spent the last night of our girls trip on the sunset cruise and we had the best time! Captain Nic was friendly, professional and above all he made safety on the boat as a first priority. We enjoyed the sights along the way and especially the amazing sunset. Also, a big bonus was loving on Ted the dog! He was the sweetest. Highly recommend you book this bargain priced cruise, you will not be disappointed!!

I cannot think of a way for this to have been better experience! We had a private cruise on the Kalamazoo River and Kalamazoo Lake to the bay entrance to Lake Michigan. The weather was great. The boat ride was smooth, and has a good mix of seating in shade and sun. Captain Nick is very informative and just plain great to talk to. His First Mate Ted is a wonderful, well behaved, super relaxed and friendly dog. An absolutely perfect time!

My girlfriends and I travel to South Haven (SOHA) every year for girls trip. This year I wanted us to do something different so I looked up boat tours and the girls loved it. Beautiful Day to be on the water. Easy to book and the boat ride was about an hour. They also have a sunset boat tour that's longer.

Absolutely wonderful experience! We did a sunset cruise for a team outing and it was fantastic. Boat is exceptionally designed, includes a restroom. The tour was beautiful taking you along the canal to enjoy all the houses while making your way out to the lake for the sunset. The boat / experience is perfect for date night, girls night out, team bonding, or whatever your heart desires! BYOB and food - did I mention the CUTEST 4-legged co pilot ? Captain is extremely knowledgeable, welcoming, and fun! Do it - book the sunset cruise, private cruise, or the morning coffee cruise.

A wonderful way for our family to celebrate! The boat was clean and there was plenty of seating. Captain Nick and first mate Thad made the trip so fun! They pointed out wildlife - we saw swans, ducks, deer, a river otter (maybe?), herons, and a bald eagle during our beautiful sunset tour. There were 10 adults and 5 children in our party and we had plenty of room! Thank you for a great evening of happy memories!!
