Decided I wanted to do a clear kayak tour last minute and I was able to book this the night before! I called ahead and was answered by a kind lady who was able to answer all my questions about booking the night before. I booked the 8:30am tour to avoid wind and crowds but later in the evening (about 9pm the night before) received an email saying we got moved to the 9:30am time. The location of the pickup spot for the shuttle was a little odd but we had a small group and our driver Michelle was really nice and informative about the area. It sounds like we had picked the perfect day, cool, not windy, and the water was very clear. Our tour guide Cole was very nice and relaxed and also had lots to share, you could tell he really loved the Tahoe area. He also hopped up on a rock to snap some photos of the group and airdropped them to us for free at the end of the tour. Not sure if it was because we were a small group or if we were fast but we did get back early. Unfortunately the next group had a late-comer so the shuttle took a while to get back to us as well so we ended up waiting over 30 minutes to get back. While we were waiting we could see some of the other companies launching groups and it seemed that our guide was MUCH nicer than some of the other guides. Though we didn’t get a lot of info on how to kayak, it was very easy to do (though I have kayaked before). The clear kayaks were very cool and it was great visibility through them but they definitely are not made for speed or comfort (which was expected). Overall I really enjoyed the experience and would recommend this to anyone considering a clear kayak tour!

I can't say enough good things about Tahoe Paddle Sports! The owner and staff truly went above and beyond to accommodate us, especially with my sick pup who has prostate cancer and who was over the weight limit. The owner was so kind and understood I wanted to take my pup on this trip for his bucket list and allowed us to take him. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly understanding and supportive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Our tour guide, Tyee, was absolutely wonderful. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly patient with our unique situation.

The scenery was breathtaking, and Tyee's expertise and passion for the area made the experience even more enriching. It was clear he genuinely cared about making our time special, and his kindness and attentiveness made all the difference.

If you're looking for a top-notch kayaking experience in Tahoe, especially if you have a furry friend, Tahoe Paddle Sports is the place to go. We left with beautiful memories and a deep appreciation for the exceptional service we received. Highly recommend

This is a great way to explore the lake, especially if you are new to kayaking. Our tour guide Tyee was helpful, funny and entertaining. He was great at giving instructions on how to kayak and also information about the area and lake. Our driver Michelle was super friendly and informative as well. She also went out of her way to make us comfortable with AC and bathroom stops. We had a great time and would do it again!

First off, I just want to say what a great experience! It was my first time in Lake Tahoe, I went to celebrate my little sister's birthday. The fires made our options very limited to explore the town. However, I was thankfully able to snag a Eastern Shoreline tour near Rock Cave. Our tour guide, Grace, was so energetic and fun! She took lovely photos on her gadgets and provided us with a bit of historical insights to the area. The tour itself if fairly short, but it was perfect since my little sister was a bit frightened at first since she can't swim and there she was in a CLEAR kayak over a large body of water 😅 Overall friendly staff, nice views, peacefulness on the water😌. We had a wonderful time this morning. Kirsten has an amazing personality and knowledge about Lake Tahoe, Yosemite. Anthony was very polite, and take care of us regarding the weather and everything that happen around Lake Tahoe.
