We booked a ground level king room non-smoking. When we arrived our first sign was there was a man on the front bench high, smoking a joint. After checking in we realized our room was on the 2nd level, it was also a smoking room which smelled horrible. I went back downstairs and told the front desk that I have severe asthma as I was also holding my 8 month old child in my arms and that we could not stay in that room. She offered me another room which was also smoking and then offered to give me some air fresheners “if I thought that would help”. When I asked about canceling the room she told me she didn’t know what to tell me cause we had booked through Booking.com.

Short stay with my husband for a couple of relaxation days. Hotel was clean and quiet. Didn't do the grab and go breakfast so can't comment on it. Staff was really friendly. Room was super clean. Bed was comfortable with lots of fluffy pillows, which is a big thing for me!

Clean and quiet. Good value. Stayed overnight during a work trip, and had a pleasant stay. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The free breakfast had a good variety of foods.

The worst thing happened to us after we drove all the way from South Carolina after my husband worked 12 hours so that we could be here to Share Thanksgiving Dinner with My Mom who has been very sick with Kidney Disease and Heart Failure, So this was a Special trip. We stayed here at Super 8 two weeks ago with my two Service Dogs with No problem only to arrive at 3:45am to check into our room we had reservations for and was told we would have to pay a extra $100 for our service animals which are now by Federal law is allowed to stay for Free. We were turned away and very Disappointed and was about to make the drive back to South Carolina when we decided to check with Days inn and Thank God for Blessings because the Young lady not only gave us a room but our Service Dogs were welcomed and we got a discount and Better Room! Never Again Super 8 Treat us this way again! They only had a few cars there anyway so I really couldn't believe it ! Y'all need to get your Policy in order before you have problems with not serving people with Service Dogs! Some young man! This lady two weeks ago didn't give any trouble at all and it was a very pleasant Stay ! Really Sad !

Decent motel but don’t expect anything fancy. Out of all the hotels in Alex City this one is the best aside from the Hampton Inn. The rooms are okay and are clean enough. I travel for work a lot and would stay here again.

my room was disgusting the jetted tub did not work and 128.00 is what I paid and definitely not worth the money.. also has remote missing along with iron...they said all they could do was issue a partial refund and the money is still not iny account

This is a great spot to stay for a trip to the lake, etc. Don't believe the nit-picky reviews. It's fine. Put down the magnifying glass and enjoy the value provided. |Clean room smelled fresh. Clean bathroom, etc. Clean, comfortable bed. Sheree at the front desk is very helpful. Grounds well maintained. It was too cold to try the pool, but the water was clear and the pool area clean and tidy. They have smoking rooms if that's your thing. Building 300 is total smoke free.

Nice, clean , very friendly staff and has breakfast, which was a nice surprise . It’s a little older motel but has every thing you need for a good nights rest, beds were good. I was trying to think of one negative comment, but can’t, just it’s older but so am I 😀
