First came here 45 years ago when I was a kid and finally back. Super chill and beautiful with lots of activities if interested. We will be back!|We stayed in Pearl, the pink tiny house and it’s perfect! Only suggestion is to put some hooks up for keys, towels, hoodies.

Staff is major friendly and helpful. Amanda & Michelle especially. My husband and I used the beautiful pool most days, unless frequenting beaches or Key West. Sunshine Key is at the most convenient location! Bahai Honda is right down the road for beaches and snorkeling. And outside of key west is Higgs beach, excellent.... with restaurant Saluté there.... recommend key lime pie.

Sunshine Key RV Resort is a true gem! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with friendly staff and breathtaking views of the ocean. The location is unbeatable—nestled right in the heart of the Florida Keys, making it a perfect base for exploring nearby attractions like Bahia Honda State Park and Key West.

The amenities are top-notch. The sites are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with full hookups and easy access. The resort has everything you need: a pool to cool off in, a marina for fishing or boating, and even bike rentals for exploring the island. We also appreciated the on-site store, which was stocked with essentials and some great local souvenirs.

The sunsets here are out of this world! Every evening felt like a front-row seat to a private show of nature’s beauty.

Very nice and very clean! Even the annual sites are well maintained. We were in site 405. Supposed to be on the water but there was mangroves in the way. Off to the side was the “beach” it was only steps away. Amanda was very nice in the office. Our site that was assigned was given to someone else and she upgraded us to the water site.

Beautiful campground in a great location and we’ve enjoyed it for years. The staff used to rake the sites clean and smooth before the next camper would come in and everything was kept nice and clean. We’ve been coming here for 5 years in a row, but unfortunately I feel like the park has not been kept up as much now as it used to be and the prices have doubled in the last 5 years. It has priced it to where the campground is only 1/2 full during the busiest months (January) of their season. I’ve spoken with lots of folks we’ve met through the years and they either didn’t come back this year due to the ridiculous high prices, or like us, won’t be returning next year due to the high prices. Obviously this is how most people are feeling already because January in the past years has been completely booked but now this January most sites are open including about 1/3 of the ocean front sites which you used to have to get on a list for. I understand inflation, but the average person just can’t spend $200 plus a night. A lot of the permanent and employee sites are run down and junked up looking. For a high end priced campground I would think management would have higher standards from their employees and full time sites than they do.

We stayed in one of their travel trailers “cabins”. The unit we were in showed its weathered age but it was very clean and everything worked great.

This is a remarkable resort with all the amenities anyone could want. From fishing to a nice pool and sunsets that are truly captivating.

This is a fantastic place to take your RV in the mid-Keys. We’ve visited 3 times so far with our family of 5 - each time for about a week during December or January - and we’ve been satisfied enough to keep coming back. Our favorite part is that the RV park takes up the entirety of the small key. It feels private and has great island vibes. Full service marina and boat launch (where manatees frequently visit). Gas stations for both your vehicle and your boat. Nice community center with a regular schedule of activities for kids and adults. Clean heated pool. Easy access to Bahia Honda State Park (which has some of the best beaches in the Keys). And just a short drive to Key West if you want to immerse yourself in more touristy sorts of things. Highly recommend!

Great location. The waterfront sites are beautiful. The pool and playground were nice, and the park was very child friendly. There is NO hot tub which was a negative. We very much enjoyed the activities they provided. It was a nice trip down to Key West and Marathon Key was very close as well.
