What a great experience sailing with Captain Dave. Our first time on a sailboat and it was SO relaxing. We took our kids ages 6,8, and 10 and they enjoyed exploring the lower bunk area and asking Captain Dave LOTS of questions. He was patient with the kids questions, laid back, and had great stories. We even got to see a rare sighting of a lemon shark pup, amazing!! Highly recommend this trip with Captian Dave!

Captain Dave has decades of sailing experience as well as many stories to share from Gloucester to Florida to many destinations around the world. He is not only a seasoned sailor, but also a talented musician. The peace and exhilaration we have experienced on Dave’s beautiful boat are unforgettable and the highlight of our trips when we are in the area. In addition to the beautiful sail along the coast, we have enjoyed learning more about sailing from Dave. Watching the dolphins from a comfortable perch on Dave’s boat and seeing the beautiful sails filled with wind without the sound of any engine is spectacular! Dave’s genuine personality, gift of storytelling and intellect only add to the experience. We highly recommend this very reasonable tour for individuals, families, friends, or anyone who wants a real experience to treasure.

This was an amazing experience! This is not a big fancy commercialized encounter, but an intimate and quaint adventure. Dave is full of stories from his many years living on sailboats, and he is happy to share his home with you during your tour. Bring your beverages and snacks, and sit back and relax while Dave does all the work! If you enjoy being on the water, learning about sailing, and hanging out with a super knowledgeable tour guide, book this adventure!

Had an amazing time with Capn’ Dave! He has 2 rules - 1. Don’t fall overboard & 2. Don’t help him out. He was great and took care of everything. Great conversation on a calm chill day out in the water. Beautiful sailboat ⛵️
