Highly recommend Captain Shane! We enjoyed our first charter so much we booked a second day in the same trip! (The same day as our flight departure!) We are frequent visitors to Key West and our favorite thing to do is spend time at the sandbars. Captain Shane didn’t disappoint and made sure we were having a great experience. We had such a wonderful day checking out multiple sandbars with Captain Shane! Super chill day with great music and beautiful scenery! We most definitely will go out with him again! We loved that he had an option for my husband and I to go as 2, joining another charter/or other single/doubles. It made a charter way more obtainable. Can't wait to do it all again this December when we are back!! Captain Shane was so personable, knowledgeable and friendly!! You never know what you're going to get on a charter boat, bit with Sun, Surf & Sand Charters, don't worry about anything but applying sunscreen and worrying if your beer is cold!

Highly recommended!
Last fall we set up a shared sandbar tour with a booking company, and boy did we luck out! Captain Shane was informative, entertaining and just a really great guy. We had such a great time at the sandbars, so naturally when we returned this spring, we booked directly thru Sun Surf and Sand for a Mother's Day cruise. Highlight of our trip, it was such a wonderful Mother's Day! We enjoyed it so much, we booked again for sunset cruise two days later. In addition to being a knowledgeable captain, Shane is also quite the photographer. Some of the best pictures from our trip are the ones he took! Not even sure where to start… this day will go down as one of the best on the water, ever. Such a cool experience from start to finish. Shane is an awesome Captain. Enjoyed spending the day with him and learning every step of the way. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Excellent time on this charter boat to a couple of sandbars in Key West! We left from Stock Island, just a few minutes from out hotel on Key West, I think called Hurricane Hole marina. Captain Shane was most helpful in guiding us to unique sandbar spots and tailored the trip to our vibe (went to Mud something and Jewfish sand bar), even including music.

This was also a very affordable option, being one of the few shared charters or boats offering less than 4 or 6 passengers in the area. It was also one of the few trips offered at 3 hours instead of 4, which we felt would be too long out in the hot sun. 3 hours was perfect. Shane even took photos of us (after asking) so that we could really relax and enjoy. Highly recommend!

This was a last minute booking and goodness gracious, we are so glad we did! This was an outstanding and memorable experience! Not only were the sandbars absolutely beautiful (and ig worthy!) … Capt Shane was knowledgeable, fun, and did everything he could to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. The boat was comfortable and well kept, the sandbars were stunning, and he capped it off with fun music and very fun boat ride at the end 😉 …. What made us book this excursion was the price ( great price!) but what will bring us back was the experience. Thank you again!
