I had the firecracker tuna roll and tempura roll and enjoyed them immensely. I'd definitely order them again. The challenge was choosing an entree because the whole menu sounds delicious. The El Diablo cocktail is sweet and spicy.... basically a jalapeno margarita. The service was very attentive, and the food & cocktails came out in a reasonable timeline considering it was a Friday night. Can't wait to return

This kind of place would have somebody who's never liked seafood clean their entire plate 🍽️
The food is so good it leaves you with flashbacks.
I usually don't subscribe to the idea of returning to the same spot often, but I will make an exception here!

More than happy to recommend Stripers bar in Lewes. My son and i were on holiday from the U K visiting family who live locally. I mentioned to our waitress that my son and I have a serious fish / seafood allergy (yes! we went to a seafood restaurant). We sat on an outside table. The staff went over and beyond making sure that our food wasn't in any way at risk of being cross contaminated. They cooked my chicken breast in the oven. They made our experience as pleasant as possible without making us feel like we were being awkward. The food was excellent and given an opportunity I will return.

Rates well for American food fare. Been here a couple times as a 2 or 3 at lunch. First time here as large family dinner group. Impressed with timing of food and server's remembering who got what, even with my second beer order without words. Burger was juicy pink with delish additions, and they have a couple of mean crab soups. Fish tacos are always juicy, meaty, n not skimpy.

A cool little place where the locals hang in the off-season. The service was friendly and quick. Not a super huge menu, but they offer many of the classics. The Seared Tuna app was good, as was the Crab Cake Sandwich. The prize of our meal was the Fish Tacos. Two overloaded soft tortillas, each with a huge piece of deep-fried cod, along with pickled onions, slaw and sauce. Parking can be an issue, as with most places in this area.

Great food! Seems weird to rave about potato salad, especially when I’m not a ‘potato salad’ guy, but this potato salad is great! As was the turkey burger with a maple aioli sauce and the brown sugar old fashioned.
And another bonus, literally right next door to the Dogfish Inn!!

We have loved Striper Bites for at least 15 years since we've come down here to Lewes. We consistently love our meals, from fish sandwiches, salads , their soups and their fresh fish offerings. We take guest here all the time . Great service and great vibes! A must go to in Lewes!
