Took 2 stereo receivers to them, a realistic and a pioneer. Neither of which were working properly or pushing any sound through - FM, AM, Aux, nothing. They called me back within a day or so saying they were fixed. Charged roughly $90 for the work. Took one stereo to my girlfriends shop and none of the controls worked, only pushed music through one channel and couldn’t control the volume from the stereo itself. Took the other stereo home and was in the same shape it was in when I originally dropped it off. Even made sure to hook up to different speakers with different wires to rule out any problems on my end. Will not be taking any of my equipment back to them.

P.S. a buddy of mine was with me and bought an older digital stereo from them for his garage while we were dropping off my equipment. He immediately returned it when we went to pick my stuff up because it did not work.

I’ve visited this place for years. They’ve always been helpful and creative in solving my issues. I wanted to see if my turntable that’s been in the attic over 25 years still worked. The guy working sold me two Sony desktop speakers for $10! And asked me how much speaker wire I needed, no charge. Nice guy. Regarding the hoarder claims, I’m happy they’ve got a ton of stuff so when I need something, they’ve probably got it or they’ll tell you where you can find it. He referred me to a place in St. Bernard for a stereo converter! And I can’t fault anybody for hoarding. How many of you have attics and it garages full of all kinds of stuff that you’ll never use again. These guys are different. And I enjoy it!!

EXCELLENT service here!! Brought in a 1926 radio and the schematic for it. While they were unable to diagnose the set's health problem, they were quite friendly and did not charge the usual diagnosis fee. They are completely honest about what they sell. The late original owner was a hoarder, but in a good way!! MANY treasures. It is worth the trip for older audio
items you won't find anywhere else.

Have my Sansui 5000x fix there, wait about 1 months until they called back and said they can't fix it, come to pick it up to find out they remove the electronic and didn't put it back together, just give me a bag of all the part they remove, damage the wood on it too, do not come to this place

I had an old Sears combo stereo that needed some love and these guys did a fantastic job. The record player and 8 track plays and sounds as good as it did when I was a kid. Also, a shout out to Alan who was very pleasant and helpful. I will definitely return. Highly recommended!

Knowledgeable about sound, but that's about all they have to offer.

I went in to talk about getting my speakers repaired, but I was taken aback by how bad my experience was. The entire time I was just waiting to leave. The place is a dump (they're really bad hoarders), the staff is extremely unpleasant to be around, and they were very condescending towards me when all I wanted was to see what the problem was. I paid the $20 "Check-out fee" and got out.

Went in for a stereo and speakers, and that's what I got. Working great 1 year later. Yes, it's a bit hoarder-ish, but that's kind of what I hoped to find. And the proprietor let a few too many profanities fly in front of my 7 year old, but I covered my girl's ears. So all good. If you want second hand, vintage audio equipment, I doubt you can do better.
