The experience was okay and would have been more enjoyable if the vessel wasn't packed with two weddings at the same time. There wasn't room to move in between chairs and tables to get outside to take in the fresh air or views unless the other table got up to do the same without interrupting them and their experience. The food was phenomenal, compliments to the chef. The brie pastry appetizer was my favorite. The upstairs was very warm, uncomfortable even. The music was so loud you couldn't have a conversation with the people at your table easily and be able to hear them. The service was good she was very friendly and kind and accommodating.

If you are in the St.Pete Clearwater area the StarLite Sapphire is a MUST! We had the most wonderful evening everyone and everything was perfect. First off it is a new yacht (we went December 8/24) it’s beautifully decorated and spotless including the restrooms. We had a window table at the front on the main floor right next to the dance floor. We were immediately greeted by the nicest woman “Stephanie “ such a welcoming bubbly personality. The rare type of person who makes you feel like you are the most important person there. Of course she spoke to everyone like this, she’s just lovely. We thought she was the DJ but no we soon had the most wonderful surprise when the music started. Stephanie is the Singer and has the most beautiful voice that matches her personality. She has a wonderful repertoire of songs from the 1950’s on up. We told her a story about our wedding and how my husband is my special angel he really is and we started our wedding dance with Bobby Vinton’s 1957 hit “You Are My Special Angel “. At the end of the evening she surprised us with “You Are My Special Angel “and it was wonderful we hadn’t danced to it since our wedding 12 years ago. We are young seniors but fairly newlyweds. The music was so great we danced most of the evening. Our waitress was “Lauren” a really nice young lady and great server. They have an amazing menu and everything is cooked fresh onboard by Chef Tim an outstanding chef. The yacht holds 150 guests and he does an amazing job and special requests. It’s an extensive menu for a dinner cruise even a Vegan dish. Salmon, Red Snapper,Chateaubriand, RibeyePork steak, Shrimp I don’t recall everything however there is something there to please everyone. I have a rare disease and must have nonfat/low fat no sugar diet. I had the Red Snapper with red&green peppers atop, green beans steamed to perfection and yummy rice. It’s a 3 course meal that starts with a delicious salad of mixed greens, mandarin oranges, raisins, seeds, parmesan cheese served with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Chef removed the parmesan cheese for me he’s an excellent cook but above all very accommodating . We spoke to him really nice fellow and he told us he will cook any request he can with the ingredients onboard and he has a lot. After the salad & delicious fresh bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping everyone chooses their own entree and dessert of the day completes the dinner. They also have appetizers that are extra but a nice variety and so reasonably priced. I had a shrimp cocktail the 6 shrimps were huge and I loved the tangy cocktail sauce you can tell that it is freshly made it didn’t come out of a jar. My husband had a delicious baked brie encrusted in a nice light flaky pastry and I believe the side sauce is apple but not certain. I just know it was fabulous once again to perfection. He really is an amazing chef to cook for so many people from scratch and serve right on time at 7:30. My husband had the Land and Sea which was chateaubriand that melts in your mouth served with shrimp. It was also served with tasty rice and green beans. We enjoyed dinner immensely dessert was cheese cake w/caramel sauce& oreo cookie crumbs atop. I can’t have sugar so my husband had 2 slices and said it was marvellous. It was truly the best meal we had during our entire month in the area. We ate at some very nice restaurants along the beach and this was by far the very best. I’m so impressed that Chef was so accommodating to my special diet. Oh the appetizers were just $9.95 And Lauren our server had her timing down pat, excellent server. Not overbearing but there when you needed her. She was working the upper level dining room where the full bar is located
and had us and another table on the main floor and yet an excellent job.The bar menu is quite extensive with a very good selection of wines and cocktails.Views are wonderful great for special occasions there were several birthdays & anniversaries. People of all ages 6-92. It’s just a fantastic experience we enjoyed our evening so & highly recommend

My fiancé booked us a surprise for the evening to celebrate our 7th year anniversary. I was beyond excited when I saw the beautiful yacht we were about to embark! It felt like a dream come true as we went onboard and were sat down at our table. Overall the service was PHENOMENAL, as our server was constantly checking to see how we were with drinks and brought our appetizers and food out as she described. The drinks were great and the views of the city at night was pretty neat. The downfall was the food (blackened fettuccini Alfredo) was horrible and tasted like the sauce was made from powder and we felt somewhat trapped on the lower level for the duration (3 hours) of the trip due to a wedding happening on the second level. There was no live music as mentioned on the website and due to the wedding we weren’t able to venture or explore like we would have wanted. The tickets are affordable and the experience was cool, cheesecake at the end was delish, but the entries were not worth the price and it is a long time on a boat where you aren’t able to do much.

This ship has seen better days. Definitely ready for a face-lift. The service was very good, the food was tasty, but it was not served hot. The food was luke warm at best, which, if you're paying $35 dollars a plate, is rather disappointing.

Outside, in the bow, it's very pleasant to enjoy the cruise. Inside, be prepared with a jacket. The temperature is quite cool. All in all, it was a pleasant experience. I would not rush back though.

We enjoyed an evening cruise in March. The food was good, not large portions but enough to satisfy. Service was very good. Music was a little loud and sort of odd for the atmosphere, but not terrible. The ship is in decent shape, showing its age but not derelect.p Total trip time was 2.5 hours after we left port, main course served about an hour in. Expect to spend $25-30 per entree, $8-10 for apps, and $8-10 for drinks. Overall, a good experience and we enjoyed our time.

This is our 2nd time going on a starlite cruise.. It was Thanksgiving Day and it was a gorgeous day-
First the positives- Food was phenomenal, staff was very friendly, and overall we had a great day-
Some of my suggestions to improve guest experiences.. the service was a bit slow to get drinks once seated, the dining room was a bit cramped and getting up to go outside was a bit cumbersome due to the tight space- the bathroom was extremely small and one lady waiting to use the bathroom was hit in the arm due to the line and the bathroom being teeny tiny- also although the singer was very good and sang good songs the music was so loud I had to have my lips touching my husbands ear or yell in order for him to hear me when talking and he was sitting right next to me- and lastly for thanksgiving I would have expected the dessert selection to be more than just apple & pumpkin pie- for $170 a person -
Overall we had a good time but I will say our experience on the tampa cruise was better than the St.Pete one we dined on today-
We would go again and love starlite
Just wanted to give honest feedback so they can improve guest experiences-

During our recent visit to St. Petersburg, my spouse and I made the decision to reserve a dinner cruise. In general, we had a wonderful time. However, the vessel could benefit from some maintenance and refurbishment. Simple measures like cleaning the windows and replacing the ceiling tiles would significantly enhance the overall appearance. Although the wait staff appeared to be somewhat overwhelmed, they nevertheless provided excellent service. The master of ceremonies was engaging and entertaining, effectively maintaining a lively atmosphere that culminated in a crescendo at the conclusion of the evening. It is important to recognize that the cost of the experience encompasses more than just the meal itself. The meal is accompanied by wonderful bread served with olive oil, herbs, garlic, and balsamic vinegar for dipping. A delightful mixed green salad with raisins, seeds, and other delectable ingredients was also provided. We decided to order the Beef Wellington appetizer, which proved to be the highlight of our dining experience. I opted for the Blackened Chicken Alfredo, which, while satisfactory, did not particularly stand out or warrant any notable praise or criticism. My spouse selected a salmon dish. Unfortunately, it was overcooked and dry. Following our main courses, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary cheesecake, which was a delightful treat. In summary, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would gladly partake in it again. We highly recommend it as a worthwhile endeavor.
